C’mon, Big. The Giants have won 4 straight. My and @Topspin Shot ’s Jets will never win 4 straight again unless they tank for Trevor successfully.

Yeah but they have to win one at some point. They nearly beat the Raiders last weekend, if not for a hail mary on 3rd & 10 with 13 seconds left to play.

Tell me you also predicted Washington to beat Pittsburgh yesterday.

1. No, NYJ’20 are as bad as Cleveland’17, Detroit’08. They didn’t win in 16 bites at the apple.

2. Illogical to ask about a Pittsburgh/Washington prediction. I think that’s called a straw man tactic. But, if you insist: had I still been in SDL here are the reasons not to use Pittsburgh: 3rd game in 12 days; barely winning against weak competition; Bud Dupree injury; James Conner Covid unavailable; lead the league in dropped passes; PK Boswell out; Washington is better than their record; Washington front 7 is scary with Sweat and Young. The WFT were getting 6.5 so, if I had bet, it would have been for that. Then I would have cursed at the 0-14 score with 2 minutes left in the first half. That all changed on Washington’s first drive and fatigue made cowards of the Steelers the entire second half.

Come on back on Sunday night and use your best “I told you so!” meme if the grounded Jets take flight. However, it ain’t gonna happen.

The Raven - Brown game was out of a Hollywood movie thriller screen play with Jackson coming back from injury in the last few minutes in the 4th quarter to save the Raven’s victory. The Brown‘s last play was like a video game and ended up in a Safety for the Ravens too! What an awesome game!

I need consensus from @Steve0904 and @Feña14 :

Options are:

1. if tied, go to points differential after Week 17

2. Pick more games Week 17 (let’s say 4 each; best record wins and, if tied, then point differential on those four)

If both of y’all get thru Week 16, let me know what you want.

I like the 2nd option. Pretty sure my points differential is horrible. ;)

Week 16 pick: Bucs by 14.

Browns by 14

We'll see if we both make it through, but i'd be inclined to pick one game and go for overall points. I'm going for a 16-1 season here :p

Plus those final week match ups are always a lottery, teams resting players for the playoffs etc..

This should be a fun game to watch! Saint lost their last game to Chiefs? Vikings out of playoffs. So Zimmer has to prove Vikings are still decent and Saint need a win for playoff positioning!

Sticking with original rules then; @Feña14 has a composite 35 point discrepancy and @Steve0904 is at 53 points; 18 point advantage to Fena. Both have green lights for any Week 17 victim. Their picks so far:

Fena: Pittsburgh, NO, Miami, Tennessee, GB, KC

Steve: Pittsburgh, NO, KC, Seattle, Baltimore, Tampa

Yeah that's fine. If Fena wants the first option we can do that. I was joking anyway :D

And Merry Christmas to everyone!

It probably won't come down to that anyway, i've picked against the Jets just as they start their winning streak ;)

That would be full of irony if Baker loses to the team he beat for the Brownies’ first win in 635 days and 19 games after subbing in for injured Tyrod Taylor, the Wally Pipp of the NFL.

With the remote possibility of the Browns/Jets being moved, and Cleveland missing all their receiving options, i'll pivot to:

Chiefs by 10
The change did you well with a little help first from a dropped INT and then from the Falcons Pro Bowl kicker missing a chip shot. Atlanta can’t win and KC can’t lose when it’s a one-score game this year.

I told you, the Jets winning streak has begun :p

I didn't want to pick the Chiefs game, I felt like it would be another close one and the Falcons had enough to hang around. Fortunately it worked out.

Funny things happen in week 17!

I'll go with the Ravens by 14
Congratulations! 16-1 and win the reboot via point differential (if Steve’s Titans lose/tie in OT you win outright).

EDIT: Tannehill to Brown bomb sets up a Titan FG FTW in regulation on a bounce off the upright and in!

Nice! 16-1, i'm pleased with that.

We doing the playoffs version too? The Wild Card round in the NFC seems fairly straight forward, the AFC all look like toss ups to me.

I’m doing the pool thing with spread, O/U, confidence factor. I don’t believe I have ever offered a playoff survivor league.

Yeah I like the playoff one a lot. And congrats to Fena. I was just happy that my second run at this was a good one. :)

Thanks! Congrats to you too, it's certainly not been easy this year (big players going down the day before the game, last minute pivots needed etc..).
