What is wrong with Diego Schwartzman?

I have stood next to Diego Schwartzman and I return the verdict that he is guilty on the charge of height exaggeration. He's about 5 foot 5. You can trust me because official sources have rated my height eye test at 20/20.

Well, he played really good for a while and not sot good lately. Up and down phases are normal for most players

It's not just about being rich, it's about being good at something.

Women like that too, even better than money in most cases.

I dont think your best data engineer has women throwing themself over him..
C'mon it's all about exposure.
That's like saying "what is rare is expensive" which is far from being what actually happen in reality since most rare stuff, experience, protocol, good, ideal etc... are not marketable.

If he's among the top 30 data engineers in the world, he probably does. And we're not disagreeing. Fame and status are just as important as money if not more so.

Diego is probably one of the 3-5 most famous people in Argentina, so for her he's got to be a huge catch.

I remember "rumours" that Diego is actually 5ft5 rather than 5ft7/5ft8.

What he's achieved in the World of the Giants (Men's Tennis) is remarkable.

It's hard to tell how tall Schwartzman is but he does look more like 5'6 or 5'5 than 5'7. Nadal is 6'1.

When you're as rich as these guys, of course you can bag a hot gf. Now whether that gf actually likes you or just your money is a different matter altogether.
Just back from a night out. Couple of girls looked like her on next table. Im taller and i think a bit better looking than Diego. Given his success i felt confident i would get lad points for a good conquest so went to chat to girls and i said i was a really good tennis player. I kid you not the girls looked at me and said Ewwww please leave us alone and turned their backs to me.
I even had my Rolex on (ok its fake but they would not know that).
So moral of the story is it must be in the personality as prima facie i was packing the same arsenal as Diego bar a personality.

No he's not. I'm 5'9 and have stood shoulder to shoulder with him and he was very, very slightly shorter than me, if not the same height. I followed Michael since he was a junior. Agassi is the one who fudged on his height, listing himself at 5'11 when he was 5'10. Anyone claiming Chang was 5'6 is on heavy drugs, simply lying or just uninformed.
Chang is 5ft 9incs and a bit. Agassi was marginally taller but not 5ft 10.

Lil pimp!!

Yeah he definitely is bc I'm 5'7 and there's no way he's my height lol
On Tinder 5ft 7 is 6ft 4 bud and means loads of matches so well done for your moral success had you been on there. Obviously Rafa has more pulling power than we do. It must be the yacht bud. He has that advantage

5'7 doesn't make a difference. There used to be 5'7 champions in the past when players could play their games without making excuses. Does Rosewall come to mind? He would've been a contender for the highest number of slams among the men if not for his professional stint. Does Martinka come to mind? The best hands and feet of any to play the sport. They were both 5'6-5'7 and dominated their best years.

The struggler you're likening these greats to instigates a flawed comparison. He never had the tools to be successful. Make him 7'5, and he'd still falter at every turn. Physics never changed. Physics didn't decide to tell Martinka she'd lose after her best weeks. What really happened: she grew taller.

I see you are a great admirer of Martinique.
When did she grow taller to disrupt her success?

So why don't we see 5'6" / 5'7" dominating anymore in the men's tour?

I don't like her. She gave up the fight. And she was 5'6 at her apex. She grew to 5'7.

It's not about just her, I can go on. Tracy Austin was the shoo-in for usurping the women's tour. Guess how tall she was? 5'4. Guess how tall Henin was? 5'6? 5'5? Height alone never decides your potential. Not in this sport. That's an excuse, like 'muscle mass'. Physics hasn't changed since the days of men playing in suits and smoking on the court.

Mental and physical burn-out!

Predictable with undersized players who put extra effort in their play, such as Diego and Kei! One mini player but who burned people out, is David Ferrer, however!

One physically big player who might have burn-out symptoms at the moment, is Thiem!

Not much agree on Thiem being physically big at the height and weight he is listed.
In my opinion, a physically big player would be Raonic, whom I think many here are hopelessly wishing he burns out.

How much of a gap would you say there is between Chang and Schwartz in terms of tennis quality?
