There, he completed his first comeback from two sets down since 2007 Wimbledon, against a decade younger rival.

Achieved the longest time span between first and last Slam victory - nearly 17 years.

Joined Novak Djokovic as only the second player in Open Era to complete a Double Career Grand Slam.

And surpassed his great rival as well as Roger Federer by winning a new record breaking 21st Slam title.
