I was reading the Post pictures of your apparel! thread, and I was wondering:
What tennis shoes do you currently wear/own? Post if you have more than one favorite...

Currently I own: Barricade V, Tirand III, Lacoste Repel, Babolat Propulse

I have tons of shoes, and have used tons of shoes, but by far my favs are the Asics Gel Resolutions. Great compromise between stability, wear and comfort. They are my go to shoes.

I currently use Nike Air Max Breathe Cage Is but may switch to Barricades. I am not sure.

Here's my rundown.. Tirand IIIs (not in the poll) are good for training and fun tennis, but my barricade Vs are better for actual matches. My Lacoste Repels are good for everyday use, but the material on the side does not provide enough support. I hear a lot of good things about the Asics gel resolutions, so I am possibly going to try them out.
I do have problems with Rafa's shoes (used to have them) because the material is too thick, and the Barricade IVs (I have the grey ones) because they are pretty heavy and do not breathe well.
I am also waiting for the new Adidas shoes in January (mostly Djokovic's new shoe).

Barricade V's, I've always wanted to try the Babolat Propule though, anyone have any thoughts on them?

Other for me as well...Asics Enqvist Plus. Love the way they fit (I have a "thin" foot from top to bottom) and they can be had on closeout super cheap. Just bought another pair to keep for when this pair wears out.

I shall take pics when I get home..but I only wear the White/Red Cage II's on the court..rest, for stuntin daily, they're so comfy. Plus people always ask where I get them, I get alot of questions about my 10th anniversary Feather 3s and Blue Gel Resolutions.

Haven't tried out many others yet, but I lucked out with my decision to go with the ASICS Gel Resolution. Very comfortable, great support and traction, and they look good too! Until there is another type of shoe that gets the type of rave reviews these do, I'd most likely go back to them when it's time for another pair.

New Balance 630. Comfortable. Easy on the joints. Variable widths to choose from. Durable for a 240lbs guy scrambling on the hardcourts 2hrs 3 times a week.

I have the Asics Gel Resolution in both blue and silver. They rock! I have worn mainly Nike models such as Vapor 4, Cage, Oscillate, Court Motion, Air Tech Challenge 2 and 3 but the Asics are just too well built for cushioning and feel. The light weight is nice to have as well. I got tired of wearing Nike and wanted something different so I went with the Asics after reading all the threads.

I currently wear the Asics Gels and love them.

I got the black and gold ones.

The outsole durability is terrible on hard courts though.

I'm playing indoors now so that shouldn't be a big problem.

Yeah, post pictures if you have any... I'll post my pics later today, although my shoes look horrible after playing in red clay...

Babolat Team Clay III -
I use it on both Har Tru and hard courts - the Michelin Sole is holding up great on the hard over the last month since i switched (i'm on the court almost every day)- The fit is also better than the Propulse or Team All Courts.

I was very impressed with the Breathe Free IIs because they are very light and have a lot of support (Best Sellers on TW). I wasn't so impressed with the Vapor Vs. I saw someone with them and the look is pretty bad. He has big feet compared to his size, and when you add narrow shoes to the mix, it really looks bad. Black is really the only color that I would consider getting them in.

Concerning women's shoes, I was also impressed with the Mystify IIIs. They look pretty good, and have a lot of support.

I wear the new designed Nike Air Zoom. All versions.. Grey, Blue, Black..

Original shoe was great 20 years ago.

The new design is better 20 years later.

And I am sure that in 20 years the newer design will be even greater..

I know, but the poll limit is 10 items, and by the time I put some shoes, I couldn't put a "other" option...
Yeah, why put the two Lacoste shoes in the poll? Seriously, who plays tennis in Lacoste shoes?

Why not put Prince, New Balance, K-Swiss, and Wilson shoes on there? Those seem to be the most popular brands that I see out on the public courts anyway.
