And all I'm saying is speak to him in a more respectful manner in future. You should know by now that English isn't the first language of everyone on here.

Stop being a busybody! I told you, I will do what I please. Ignore me if you don't like it.

Your criteria makes no sense though

No let's just put Djok above Agassi, when they nearly same amount of slams but the American has career grand slam and Olympic gold. How do you do that? Of course, players from the past always get underrated while current champions are always the best thing ever.

If doing what you please entails being rude to people then I don't think that is a very mature way to act. And why would I ignore you? I thought that was only for 12 year olds?

Nah I'm being serious. As we saw this year whether there's Nadal or not, Djokovic can't win the FO. It's not his not meant to. It must be Gods doing (I'm kidding about the God stuff)
I think he will win FO. He is too good not to. The same way Nadal was too good not to win at the USO. All these guys (Federer, Nadal, Djokovic) are cream of the crop of the Open Era, and they have pushed each other harder than any other player before. The 80s were close, but I think Fenadalovic have even raised the bar. Djokovic will win Roland Garros, don't worry.

I think you should go compare their careers more carefully and come back to me in 15 minutes. Then if you still think Agassi is greater then i don't know what to say to you anymore...

If you think I am being rude to ND-09 and you don't like it, ignore it.

As for ignore lists, I don't have anybody on ignore. I just skip over the posts of posters who post nonsense such as that poster tennis_commentator. How anybody can read his posts I have no clue. Do you have people on your ignore list?

Ready my updated post again, maybe Shackles and Djok2011 will understand better now.
LOL. I'm sorry, Gazelle. Your math doesn't square up.

You claim 8 + 3 (for lack of FO) + 1 (to be above Agassi).

The problem is that he IS already above Agassi. That means you take away the last 1, and have 8+3.

But, now, what if he does win the FO next year? Then the 3 goes away, I take a 2. Give you back the change, you give me back the one, we take the Modulus 3 division of the number of stars in the American flag, and multiply by 5 because you are a dumbfvck. LOL

I'm just kidding you, by the way. I was joking about your math. Entertaining post though. ;)

I think he just trolls purposely. No human being is born that delusional

I have to say I too was lying on the ground when you said "Career grand slam is overrated".
It is though. Be honest, you'd never even heard of it until Agassi won the French. In fact you'd probably never heard of it until Federer won it in 09.

I think it is mostly media hype/propaganda, I may be wrong, but nobody said Laver had the career slam when he won all the majors. Still of course, it is great to win all the GS events. But the word ''career slam'', is mostly media I think.

Take a look at the latest new thing: Double career slam. Rofl

Yes, I do have some people on ignore and I don't see why that makes me a child in doing so. Unfortunately there are some very annoying posters on here and I'd rather not waste my time engaging with them if it's possible.

Don't be ridiculous and try and rewrite tennis history. The Career Slam is a huge achievement.

Just testing to see if I'm on ignore.

Testing... testing... 1, 2, 3...

For a fan of Djokovic, with his puny 1/8 convertion rate in USO/FO finals, that must indeed seem like something alien.

Come on now, Djokovic2011.
Come on now what?

I don't think so sadly. I think that ship has sailed.

I meant: Come on, you must have heard about the Career Grand Slam, no?

As for the ship sailing, I don't think so. I think Nadal is done unfortunately, and if Nadal is out, Djokovic could win 1, 2, or even 3 FO titles. Who will stop him? I don't think Wawrinka has the consistency, plus he is 2 years older than Djoker.

All this grammar and he-said-she-said crap is pretty petty.

As far as whose career I'd want, Agassi's hands down. That man was a rock-star. Superbly successful, a very unique and pleasing game, and didn't take **** from anyone, not even Wimbledon. His career is full of ups and downs, swings and misses, victory and self-destruction. Who wouldn't want to be on such a dynamic and crazy ride?

Definitely Novak, and I was a fan of Agassi back in the day - as one of very few that offered some resistance to Pistol Pete.
In saying that Agassi never really truly dominated the field, only 1 YE#1 as well.
The 2nd multi-Slam year this year, plus being a triple Wimbledon champion, is the clincher for Novak.

Don't forget the 5 Beijing Titles.

You'll have to forgive Gazelle Rusty, he still needs a little more time to process what happened five days ago. He'll be OK soon enough I'm sure. ;)
If I can process Nadal's career going down the tubes without becoming utterly deranged, I am sure Gazelle can process poor Federer not winning #18. ;)

Djokovic has 3 Wimbledons and is soon to be 4x the YE #1. So I'd say definitely him. Main thing Agassi has going for him in my mind is the love of the public :D

I am starting to lean towards Djokovic now.

I don't think Agassi has many arguments at this point. Djokovic has been the best player in the world for far longer and has won more big titles.

Career slam isn't worth that much.

Yeah, I do agree with you, this is why I am leaning towards Djokovic now, and that is one way traffic at this point, since Djokovic will only add to his legacy.

I would take Djokovic's by a country mile.

If Djokovic 'hung up his racket today' he would also retire as the most dominant tennis player of all time, having just won Wimbledon and leading the ATP ranking in an extremely emphatic fashion. There would be an endless stream of 'what ifs' to propagate the Djokovic myth....

Anyone who says Agassi is lying. I loved Andre, he's my favourite past player, but Nole has surpassed him now and he would say so himself.

I would rather have Agassi's. Djokovic has had the better career and is the greater imo but that isn't the question.

Agassi's is more desirable imo. Why? Because for me the Olympic Gold medal is something I would desperatly want, just to repeat in terms of greatness the Agassi's gold means little when comparing him to Nole.

He also has all 4 Grands slams, the Career Grands slam is desirable in itself, but it is the missing trophy that makes me want Andre's career more. He has that French Open, so prestigious, and Nole doesn't.

The YE#1 are huge in terms of greatness but for me as long as I have got one I would really not care. Nole's 3 Wimbledon's would pull at me but still, I would rather 1 Wim, 1 Gold and 1 French.

The Masters series are once again a testament to how good Nole is, but still as a kid you don't dream of winning Madrid and that is what this thread is about.
