The pedant in me found the headline of that video misrepresenting. Gonzales is from the Philippines and Chris Rungkat is from Indonesia. They were playing in the invitation only Hong Kong Champions Cup, an exo featuring top Asian players in a round robin format over 2 days. So it's not like a Japan vs Indonesia thing like the poster of the video makes it out to be. I find it unnecessarily ethnocentric and nationalistic.
Playsight can give useful data. I confirmed my string and racquet choices with it. I personally would never buy a racquet based on anyone's review, without trying it out first. Of course, many around the world don't have that privilege, because their local agents either have no or limited demo racquets. And for some, even getting the racquet specs in terms of SW is difficult (I personally wouldn't bother doing that home method! haha). So I guess forums like these are somewhat useful, if one can sift through the marketing BS.
Yonex's claims of the "new" aerofin and aero trench design, can't possibly be that significant in spin, compared to the string pattern changes.
