Have you every listen to him speak about current affairs and such. He is total WOKE/leftist and not like his character in movies/Wrestling portrays him to be. He is for Socialist/Communism agenda like many of the Hollywood Elite today. He did move out of LA years ago and lived in Atlanta,Georgia. Smart move by the “Rock”.
He's smart being a non-partisan, rarely talks smack [politics], only way to truly gauge his leanings is when he actually announces his candidacy--don't think so, perhaps in the distant future.

Seriously, Supergirl is funny!!! I LOLed when Agent Alex Danvers said about her boss: "And if she gets any more Dolores Umbridge-y, I'm going full Weasley twin." :-D
I miss the Winn Schott fun character after he was replaced by Brainy. But Brainy can be funny too! Brainy can cause serious LOL with his expressionless face!!!!

Anybody tried out the Young Rock show?

Story of a former wrestler draws 5 million
Highest rated wrestling show is around 2 million

Yep, The Rock is bigger than wrestling. Who knew?

I'll have to check it out.
Hey, how's it going with Young Rock?

Young Rock: Hello, ladies.

Karen: Hi, Tomas.

[in his mind] Young Rock: Oh, yeah, I also told her that my name was Tomas.

Took a binge watch on the 30 minute 1955-1960 Matt Dillon TV Show which got renamed Gunsmoke when it went to 60 minutes.
The 30 minutes episodes are my favorite of the Matt Dillon/Gunsmoke series. Each season had 39 episodes, not like the current limited 12-20 episodes of today’s season run. Gunsmoke had a 20 year run on CBS and Alan Hale recommended to cancel Gilligan’s Island before CBS cancelled Gunsmoke. CBS executives were a little mad in their TV programming thinking, wanting to introduce new shows even if their current shows had a big rating draw and replace them. Gilligan’s Island, Gunsmoke and a couple of others shows were in the cancellation bid for their picking. Gilligan’s Island got picked.
Just got done with Season 1 of Matt Dillon/Gunsmoke! It was very good and had 30 episodes. I going take a breather and watch a movie or a new TV show. Been watch lots of pro tennis from Dohi, Lyon, Rotterdam too.

I didn't realize I got Superman & Lois on my Foxtel Go app. Just finished watching the Pilot... and now watching the 2nd episode of Season 1. I got the feeling it has less comedy stuff in it compared to Supergirl, otherwise the acting is good. What I like about Supergirl is that it made me laugh a lot.

Less than 3 weeks until Season 2 of City On A Hill starts up. If you didn’t see it on Showtime, try and catch the Season 1 marathon; it will probably air during their Sunday 3/28 schedule if they follow their normal scheme. Kevin Bacon is a dirty Boston FBI agent in the late 80s/early 90s. Aldis Hodge plays an ambitious but honest DA that “allies” with dirty Bacon in the pursuit of justice. Lots of subplots (Jill Hennessy plays the neglected wife of Bacon) that flesh out the storyline.

Ed Begley Jr. as cranky Professor Linkletter in Young Sheldon is a great fit replacing the mentor role played by Wallace Shawn as Dr. Sturgis. Chuck Lorre has such great pull to lure solid performers in featured supporting roles in nearly every series he creates. This is just the latest success.

Young Sheldon is pretty good indeed.

Chuck Lorre generally makes good shows, it's just that they usually overstay their welcome because Lorre is always milking them as much as he can.

After watching 3 episodes of Superman & Lois, I have to say that Superman & Lois is a bit boring compared to Supergirl.

I’m sad to see Mom canceled after just the first season following Anna Faris deserting the crew. The ensemble cast they developed after moving away from the three-generation plot line to the AA group/Bonnie&Adam romance was strong enough to thrive without Faris. I particularly liked the recurring guest spots by Rainn Wilson as Bonnie’s shrink. Just another example of the Lorre magnet. Also, reuniting Kirsten Johnson and French Stewart from their days on 3rd Rock From The Sun was great chemistry even if they were only directly opposite in the ensemble for a few scenes. I got the feeling the actors really loved showing up for work every day.

I'm rewatching all seasons and episodes of Supergirl. This show makes me laugh a lot! Winn is really funny. I laughed looking at his facial expression when he was told off by J'onn for being naughty/reckless, risking his own life by teaming up with Guardian and fighting Livewire on their own without Supergirl. J'onn finished his ranting by saying that Winn & Guardian is reckless, but an impressive team.

Winn reacted with an evil cheeky smile expression of a naughty boy.

I'm watching Smallville. I think Smallville is a bit like Supergirl. It is very engaging and the story telling is very rich. Superman & Lois story telling feels a bit slow.

Just looked in on Resident Alien. Rather quirky / interesting. I can see getting hooked on this one. Believe it is showing on both SYFY and Peacock.

Spoilers ahead:

Looks like only the 1st three eps of Resident Alien were free on Peacock. But discovered that the rest of them were on the NBC app (probably at SYFY as well).

I can't wait to see Supergirl Season 6! I just finished watching Season 1-5!

I think Cat Grant is hilarious!

Supergirl will take over Superman & Lois’s timeslot, with the latter entering a brief hiatus stemming from a COVID-related production halt earlier this summer. The Supergirl spinoff will return with new episodes on Tuesday, May 18 at 9/8c; Supergirl will then go on a break and return with its final episodes sometime this summer.

Episode 19, Season 3 of Young Sheldon became solid gold for me when I just saw it and witnessed history being repeated 60 years after the fact...in real life after hitting the longest Little League home run ever ruled foul by a foot I had to hear the opposing team’s adult coach remind his pitcher it was just a “long strike.” In the episode on TV tonight, Sheldon’s twin sister Missy gives up a long foul to her “boyfriend” only to strike him out on the next pitch.

I, too, struck out in real life that day but I just won by being reminded tonight of how lasting memories can be.

Supergirl Takes on Lex Luthor in First Look at Final Season

By Keisha Hatchett / March 16 2021, 5:23 PM PDT

It’s a bird… it’s a plane… no, it’s our first look at the sixth and final season of Supergirl! The CW has unveiled the first official photos from the Season 6 premiere — arriving Tuesday, March 30 at 9/8c — and it looks like the gang is in for one heck of a last ride.

The premiere, titled “Rebirth,” picks up right after the events of the Season 5 finale, in which Brainiac found himself near death after sacrificing himself in order to stop Lex Luthor from using the Obsidian platform to brainwash half the world into becoming devout followers. However, it didn’t go as planned, and Lena, knowing how dangerous her brother is, “enlists the entire team — Alex, J’onn, Dreamer, Kelly and Brainiac — to help, but Supergirl realizes that the only way to truly stop Lex is to sacrifice herself,” according to the episode’s official description.

Not much is known about Season 6, but we do know that the CW series’ final run will include two flashback episodes that revisit the early years of Cat Grant’s career. Newcomer Eliza Helm is set to portray a young Cat, who went by the name of “CJ Grant” before becoming the mega media mogul that we know and love.

Supergirl will take over for Superman & Lois, which will enter a brief hiatus stemming from a COVID-related production halt. Superman & Lois will then return with new episodes on Tuesday, May 18 at 9/8c, and Supergirl will go on a break and return with its final episodes sometime this summer.

Please broadcast that to @Poisoned Slice re your affinity towards the Smallville franchise AND Superman & Lois would be on indefinite hold--frozen stiff.

Thank you for the shout-out. I do consider myself the cream when it comes to being a Smallville aficionado. One more time, Sir. One of my favorite Lex moments.

It's interesting to know the real life of some actors. Chyler Leigh, who plays Alex Danvers in Supergirl, contracted covid last year:

During mid-2020, Leigh contracted COVID-19 and became ill. Leigh described her experience in an article published to createchange.me on October 14, 2020:

I lost about a month's worth of time, laying in bed, waving to my children in the hallway with a mask on so they didn't see how sick I was from COVID-19. Almost "game-over" sick. The only time I had with my husband was spent six feet apart on our bedroom balcony in the morning for a soul-lifting hour to just be with one another or when he donned his mask coming in the room to take care of me, bravely bringing food and Gatorade (which half the time I wasn't able to taste). Golden moments in the midst of darkness. I will say I'm incredibly lucky, though. By the grace of God, no one else got sick. And, although there were a few occasions it almost seemed necessary, I didn't have to go to the hospital. I think getting through a sickness of that magnitude definitely earned me a level up. My body defeated what I thought was impossible and I got a proper restart.[27]

She and her boyfriend had a difficult upbringing and addicted to drugs. Her friend helped her to convinced her and her boyfriend to go to church and move away from drugs and get married.

Meanwhile, Melissa Benoist, who plays as Supergirl / Kara Danvers, had an accident while learning to ride a bike during the first semester at her college. A taxi backed into her while she was on a bike and the accident left a scar above her eyebrows (I did wonder before if the scar was from an accident). She was also often assaulted by her boyfriend during a relationship. An iPhone was thrown towards her and it tore her Iris. Her bf said that she attacked him too, causing broken nose and traumatic injury. (Made me wonder if she is actually Supergirl in real life, LOL).

I quite like Smallville! I did watch it 20 years ago but I was too busy with school and didn't get to watch it all. Now I can properly follow the whole story.

LOL I just started to watch Smallville episode 8 of season 2, and I saw Fox Mulder's father acting as a corrupt Smallville's Mayor! He's a good villain actor! They should really blend X-Files and Superman series, that would be freaking awesome!!!
