The last thread I would like to remember is the one that @PeterFig graced us with. He showed us some cool designs of what he thought cool Fed rackets would look like, and we ended up helping to decide on the PJ for a whole line of rackets!

If not for this thread Cinci would have sunk into oblivion considering it has been won by nobodies like Murray, Djokovic and Federer.

edit: Sorry, Bull has won it. Got confused with Djokovic.

Is he ? Baby Fed with somewhat elegant strokes stepped up to hold the fort this year so Fed's legacy ain't tainted :cool:

Wetting is what happens to any good Vortexian like @jaggy when we consider the great works of Sureshs, The Legend! Jaggy also has an appetite for AYCE Indian buffets that is only surpA.S.Sed by noble Suri so he wets himself when his appetite is whetted.

So my favorite old man martyred himself, beating Delpotro

I thanked God for that favor, it was a splendid stroke of luck
But against His son in the final, I became a sitting duck
It was 2011 all over again, when the final ball was struck
I thought the courts were tailored for me, but I still lost, WTF.

The post title is unintentionally funnier than it knows. Cincy is one of a select few tournaments that can’t tout itself as “the real Slam.”

Cincy is 80% owned by the USTA so the USTA controls Cincy and the USTA is contractually prohibited from promoting any tennis event other than the USO as “the real Slam.”

Try IW instead.

Ha ha, I remember all the matches and the interesting little tidbits about both 2011 and 2013 WTF thanks to these songs .
Like Nadal tanking Paris vs Ferru in 2013, aggressive Stan complaining about Tio in 2013 (a precursor of what was to come 2 months later ;-) )or Nadal taking a bathroom break between games vs Fish in 2011 claiming to have an upset tummy and then getting bageled by Fedr in the next match :D
