Picked this up off the bay for £14 and simply cannot wait to get it out on court.

Hit with it tonight and now have a real dilemma whether to continue with my trusty Tour 100P or the banana Reb. The flex on the rebel along with Alu Power Feel at 50lbs is addicitive. Plough through is fab. Really reminds me of the Rad Tour Zebra. I’ve seen another on the bay which is sorely tempting.

I grew up with the pc600 and pt 600 and played with it all my life!! I used to stock up alot in my sponsored days but managed to play through all of them (all 10 either warped or cracked)... now im onto my last pair of pt600..

I bought tgt292.1 from a member here ( he is the best!!!) last month and i really love that!! I think i sorta preferred that than the pt600 (maybe due to the rounder head and just felt more solid/stiffer slightly)!!

Oh and vsbabolat now that ur here.. ive been meaning to ask u this for a long time.. u mentioned u stripped ur pt600 into the hairpin and remolded the handle!! Who does this service! And if you did it urself!!

Any tips on how to do it? I tried to get the buttcap off but it seems to be stuck and i cant get it off! I ask because i brittled the rubber collar and tried to fix it by cutting tk87 pallet, sanded n reglue to make a new collar!! But when i play a slice backhand it seems to make like a cracking sound which is annoying..

I wonder if you have any idea on how i can fix this collar problem without changing the balance and weight of the racquet.

You mentioned your remolded pt600 plays like pc600? Same weight too?

Hey @graycrait, I always wondered if the Graphite Comp and the Graphite Pro were really the same racquet under different paint, do yo notice any difference between the two?

I don't think there is much difference. I would love to have access to a RDC machine to check these rackets out, especially a comparison of Powerflex, Power Pro, Graphite Comp and Graphite Pro. All the others exhibit relatively significant differences in flex, feel, etc.

I gave my PT600’s to certain racquet customizer. The PT600 were customized to my PC600, play and feel identical. The customized removed the SG handle and then molded one on.

The Graphite Comp is a much stiffer frame than the Graphite Pro. The Graphite Comp was stiffer than the POG. The Graphite Pro and Power Pro were much higher flex with a higher percentage of fiberglass than the Graphite Comp. I have not measured any of the frames on my RDC but was quite involved with Prince in the 1980s.

Pulled these two old timers from under the stairs. IG Speed 300’s. Stuck 6g of lead at 3 and 9 and tail weighted with tac to 340. Pacific overgrip and vibra dampeners. Flex in the high 50’s. Looking forward to taking them out on the clay tomorrow.

Any specific reason you go with all yellow overgrips?
No particular reason. Don't like black and white gets dirty too quickly. Yellow comes in 30 packs and the've grown to be my signature thing, I suppose.
...And Black/red racquets?
I've never noticed that. It's just that the Prestige Pros and red/black and the Yonex VCore line has been predominantly red/black so it's coincidence. On the other side, there's plenty of color variety!
Old Pure Strikes, Pro Staffs + modern vcores and beasts are a thing of beauty though, so who can we blame.
Yas! I've got a decent Donnay collection which I'm proud of. Dunlop AeroGel 4D 200 hidden in there as well as a pair of older Yonex RDX 500s, Gamma Bubba RZR, Yonex Regna,

Nice IG's, I like that paint job.

Much prefer the glossy paint on these compared to the matte finish.

Why HEAD has matte finish for retail and then glossy for Pro racquets is insane. Notice how the silver and the red parts really pop!? Have you noticed that dark color around throat is really metallic blue and nit black. I couldn’t tell that on the retail racquets
