Watched McHale vs Sakkari, was glad to see McHale advance since she played qualifying also, however Sakkari was distraught with herself on court which lead to her losing in a bagel in the second set.

The comment that I replied made a remark about Stosur's upper body mass (I assumed but that's what Stosur is known anyway not because her legs). Deadlift mainly is for building and conditioning legs.
I'm pretty sure tennis athlete do weight on shoulders tho.

Good the sooner she is out the better. Az and Mugu would have to improve drastically on recent performance, don't think those 2 offer much help. Good game first up Kasatkina v Vondrousova could be good to watch.

Wrong as ever I comment on most of the tournaments as I did in Doha and Dubai (we had some decent discussion actually better without you and the Williams), when you call someone a troll normally on such forums you are on the wrong side of the arguments. On Williams you certainly are.
Very little, tactically she has totally the wrong game.

I was wondering the same thing.
Could be her health -- possibly injured or unwell, she's slowed like maybe a low-grade mono.
Could be her head -- she's smart and she may be bored. Like Jankovic once went into a big slump when she realized after the thrill of it all wore off a bit, pro tennis is a lot of grind but not so much mental challenge.
Could be family or coach.

Not surprising but Kasatkina loses in the first round. She was a finalist in Indian Wells last year. She’ll leave the top 20 despite starting the year in the top 10.
