Jannik Sinner has entered the Genoa Challenger, which this year will be held just after the U.S. Open, from September 2-8. Other entrants include Casper Ruud, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Rudolf Molleker.

My dreams will be realized with some good luck that will allow me to spectate live at a Jannik match from The Sin Bin populated with fellow goons with no possible redemption from our evil ways.

Who’s joining me at Miami’20???

Gonna be really hard to break Wawrinka. Having a bit of a hard time handling the serve. Wawrinka isn't playing very cleanly, though.

Tough loss, but gritty effort.
Had he remained steadfastly sinful in that last game, I’m firmly confident Jannik would have buried Stanimal in the underworld he rules! Two tough games to finish the match that could have gone either way.

He can definitely hit the ball and is a good mover. The Stanimal match has firmly established that.

Hopefully he reviews the match and sees that the solution to his problems against a player like Stan does not lie in moar powaaah. You keep feeding him 75-90mph groundstrokes in the slot and you're gonna pay for your sins Jannik.

Piatti’s next and probably most important project...add variety and a net game!

Apparently Jannik Sinner is going to focus on the upcoming Asian swing at ATP level where a wildcard or two for the main singles draw would mean he wouldn't have to go through qualifying. He had entered this week's Challenger on home soil in Genoa but then withdrew for some reason.

Can't find a news article to confirm, but the wiki page for the 2019 St Pete 250 tournament next week shows Sinner entered as a wild card.

If that would be a MD WC, it would be an upgrade from the live-tennis schedule tracker that shows him heading there for qualies.

For his return to action at next week's Saint Petersburg Open, wildcard Jannik Sinner has been drawn to play the no. 6 seed, Mikhail Kukushkin of Kazakhstan, in first-round singles action.

It would be sinfully fitting to send the 2010SPO champion (his only career title) home to Borat after 1R loss...from penthouse to outhouse in a decade!

Very interested to see the Sinner back in action on the indoor hard courts.

As a child of the Tyrolean Mountains, he learned the game playing indoors 9/10 months a year, so he naturally feels most comfortable with a roof over his head. No surprise that his big breakthrough came in Bergamo's Palazzetto. Now it's time to take it up another notch and make a serious push for the Top Hundy.

In other news, the always-sinful Italian federation has awarded Gianni its wild card for the NextGen ATP Finals. Woulda been nice to qualify on his own merits (he still could) but hey... we'll take it!

Gah, this kid should be theoretically up, but can't convert a break point to save his life. 0/7 vs Kukushkin's 1/1. Down 2-5 serving in the first set.

A 6-3, 7-6(4) victory earlier today for Mikhail Kukushkin over Jannik Sinner in first-round action in Saint Petersburg.

I didn't catch the match, but TennisTV posted some highlights:

I'd never actually seen him play before this, and man, does his game ever look smooth. Those groundies look so easy.
My exact reaction when I first saw him last winter as he won the Bergamo Challenger as an unknown WC. “Where does he get that power???” was the question I kept asking.

Jannik will be seed #14 in the Orleans 125 challenger this coming week. An unusually strong field for a challenger, it features 7 top-100 players with Tsonga and Humbert headlining. This will be a pretty good test for the young lad.
