Greatest machine in the world came out with a new model ? this I have to see.

It's dubbed the "Baiardo Lite." It's mostly manual, no touch screen, height you have to self adjust, etc.

If it’s manual, then it’s not “electronical”. Only “electronical” machines are the best based on posts made by TTPS that I have read. He also claims to know everything so he must be right.

I have pictures of it but can’t load them at the moment.
The clamps are lighter and all black but the gravity release is gone. Manual like the Star 5. It’s got the push button LCD display which is a far cry from the expensive model.
The machine adjustment is manual so it would be a lot more work to use it effectively.

This is so awesome! I'm in the market for a Baiardo and was just about to pull the trigger on a used one in Florida.

Thanks, just wanted to know. I'm just a senior who got a used NEOS 1000 a few years ago as my first machine and find the stringing machine "wars" interesting. I'll take a look at the Yonex just to see what I am missing. I like reading about the latest greatest in automobile technology but drive a 18 yr old Honda CRV

I have great respect for Honda and Toyota.
$10K for the PT8 Deluxe - wow! That is indeed rarefied air. Looks like it is still me and the NEOS
I don’t think it’s actually $10K. It’s actually better bang for the buck than most of the mid-range machines.

The clamps are very good. Normally they fit really close to the frame and holds the string very good.
The clamp base and rails are very smooth (not so smooth as tecnifibre!). Very easy to handle them.
The tension unit is very solid, easy to hande and also have a lot of settings.
Also you can move the towers to string Badminton rackets and have the side supports on the right position (not possible on Wilson and Babolat machines).
And a lot more...
String a few rackets on it and you will see the difference.

Probably is I would imagine the weight is lower because it is a manual machine instead of automatic leveling, but the machine features should be basically the same.
I.... Don't understand... the Babolat starting clamp part. Hahah

Me either. I wouldn't have one solely because of the lack of gravity release. I'm not really clear on the purpose of the lighter machine anyway. Sure it takes some help from my wife or brother in law to put the box with the top in the back of my truck for travel but I can disconnect and put the top in the box my self and the base while heavier is easy to carry if you just pick it up and hold it sort of with the feet wrapped around your waist and the top leaning on a shoulder. I actually believe the Baiardo is a fairly efficient travel machine as is based on ease of disconnect and set up. I take tear it down and pack it up in about 10 mins and put it back together in about 15.
