Jannik is basically playing a “blade spec” - a lot of weight in the head, not a lot of weight in the handle. I setup my Extreme Tours like this by removing the weighted trap door and replacing with a standard one. I then redistributed the weight (4 grams) to the hoop. It is close to Jannik’s spec but my SW is a little lower. It hits a huge ball for such low static weight though. I am tall and have long arms - you don’t need a lot of static weight when you have long levers. I think Jannik’s setup makes a lot of sense for him actually.

Did Head change the mold with the 360 Speed, since the specs went from a 22 mm to a 23 mm flat beam?

Is the Touch or XT version a better frame than the current MP, or is it just a case that this was the racket he’d used to? I ask, since I’ve noticed that the XT (and perhaps Touch) MP has been reissued this year, without any ref to Sinner, but claiming it’s due to demand?

A doubt for the colleagues of the forum that already beat with the models of speed, the current model (MP 360+ 2020) is better than the previous ones it is more comfortable and brings more power? for you what is the best model of speed mp?
thankful

Can anybody identify what racquet he is using? Hard to tell with the old speed PJ. This thread: https://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/index.php?threads/jannik-sinner-racket-strings.655989/
Didn’t really come to a conclusive find of what he uses.

True and fair, but I do still enjoy TN’s reviews and content.

honestly i find his video reviews unnecessarily long and verbose. ofc that's compared to tw reviews which are of great and professional quality. his reviews on pro stocks are mostly just echoing what's said on talk tennis. but i guess they are very informative for those who don't spend way too much time here like i do

TN is basically copy pasting TT content. And his reviews are very subjective for example he doesn’t like Yonex frames so keeps hating them all the time

Just curious, in terms of popularity has 339 been better received than 301 overall? I have a couple of 301 MP in that sexy silver/black limited PJ and absolutely love how they play too.
Not sure about that. Release timeframe (beginning of lockdown) and Novak not using latest PJ is probably not helping...

I do like the feel of the 339 better than the 301. I did like the 263 a lot

Why isn’t Djokovic using the latest pj? Same reason Federer did not like the tuxedo RF?

I suggest listening to the Roland Garros radio (via app or Tune In app) while watching tennis channel on mute. The radio is about 30 sec ahead and the RG app doesn't allow you to rewind so you'll have to use Tune In App to sync the radio to the tennis channel broadcast

Sinner has got to finish more points at the net. So many opportunities. Trying to outrally Rafa is a losing strategy.

Maybe but also some players just can’t play well on clay for lack of good reason. On the paper he should be able to get way better results on clay.
He hits completely flat off both sides but he's tall enough that the ball basically stops and sits up on clay. Add to that the fact that gives up plenty of room behind the baseline and most players make better use of the surface than he does and it all makes sense.
