I am hearing comments on a french channel. Everyone says closing the roof favors Nadal. Wet, heavy conditions would have favored Djokovic, but the roof being closed takes it away.

It's not excuses per se. We know Rafa's record with indoors. I don't know about other Rafans but I believe Rafa definitely had much better chances had the match been played in June, but it is what it is. Hopefully we will have a good match.

LOL at Nadal fans talking about luck. The guy won 2 US Opens with 250 level draws in the last few years, came to the sf here without playing top 70, not to mention how last years scheduling here favored him immensely. They just have no shame.

Yep, that's all I'm hoping for is a good match. Like the women's final, I having a feeling this is going to be a rout, though. For me, the match I enjoyed watching the most in this tournament was Thiem/Schwartzman. If this match comes anywhere close to that, I'll be very happy.
But like I said in a prior post, I think there is zero chance of that happening. I think this is going to be a rout.

It's beyond me how one player can ALWAYS have the luck on his side. At this point this is just disgusting. Just like in Wimbledon 2018 they closed the roof only for one match in the tournament. Exactly the one where Djokovic needed it the most.

Agreed. But the forecast earlier today predicted dry, somewhat warm conditions which would have been a major boost for Rafa. This makes it "neutral" I guess with a slight edge to Novak. We'll see.
