I can understand finding this funny, but his entire behavior and demeanor during the match was that of a child. Not a 15-year-old, an elementary school level child. A spoilt one at that.

Let me repeat myself. I have zero respect remanning for him. And honestly, I have only slightly more than zero respect for anyone who is a fan of him.

It wasn’t just this incident. It was him constantly complaining to the umpire, him openly insulting fans, smashing a racquet and having a meltdown, then attempting to play with the broken racquet… being openly rude, boorish, and immature at every turn of the match. I have seen 5 year olds with greater control over their emotions and a better sense of accountability for their actions. Actually, I have seen better 3 year olds.

Do you realize how hard it is to be the biggest clown on the court when you’re playing f-ing Dimitrov???

Agreed, although Grigor is not a clown. He's a choke artist.

I really despise French tennis crowds so even if this is crass and disrespectful, I almost want to allow it. Lol.

C'mon Kralingen, cut him some slack, he's not all bad :D

Nothing unusual for him, though one of the things that gets me on top of his aggressive, bully-like behaviour is his hypocrisy. Loves to give it, and act like the crowd against him gives him power in Nole-like ways, and in reality cries about his inner 12 yea old boy's dream dying, refuses to play (disrespecting the receiver's rhythm and momentum) and shooshes crowds & gives them the middle finger. Like decide man, be a heel and own it or be a cry baby and own that.

You do seem to have a lot of experience with kids of all ages :p

Is giving the middle finger to the crowd still considered an obscene gesture nowadays or has it been normalised? I would think that he is going to get a hefty fine.

Whatever, Daniil has to play against the oponent and the crowd too. NO WONDER he just is under too much pressure.
Go Daniil and give a damn on your detractors.
There is another thread stating he is a mediocre player... easy to say from the couch, beer on hand. So disrespectful
