Any chance to see some more tennis today, beside that Troicki bend-over match?
It's 6:45 there. And they can play till 11 with the roof. On other courts what is the time they can play till ? 9 pm ?

I don't think there's enough time to fit in another mens match on CC after this one is over. They could start a match and play a set -- don't know if they would do that.

Even on the other courts, if play is till 9 pm they may at best try to complete a pending match. So not much chance of more tennis.

They really should schedule a match on Centre after this one. Murray or Tsonga.
Murray likely since its gone a little deeper. Just hope it doesn't rain tomorrow otherwise it'll be hard to fit in so many R16 matches along with the 4 women;s QF's.

But what if they've already told Muzza that there's no more play today.

Nole takes first set with ease

Organizers probably wishing they'd put Andy on CC, any other match in fact would have been more interesting.

gifs ? Hoodman posted some awesome ones today. It's nearing midnight here, will watch this set and then call it a day.

Nole looking good will win Wimbledon and Olympics.

was thinking maybe nadal wins the olympics
was really hoping fed could do it here, or both
but too old and hurt, and not serving like he was 2 years ago

Really? I'm surprised, they still have a good ~3 hours of tennis left in the day

Still licking their wounds after breaking the curfew on Saturday, no doubt.

Agreed. Brutal.

I've hated ESPN's coverage as well. Way too much in studio/talking segments.

I'm not Murrays No.1 fan by any means but that's f'n stupid.

Probably will put the Williams sisters doubles match on centre.

If that's they case, they can fu** off! DUMBEST DUMBEST decision ever made.

What is supposed to be the "greatest day in tennis" actually turned out to be pretty dreadful thanks to bad weather, terrible scheduling, and bad decision making.

At least we won't have a day of purely WTA matches....

Man, I wish they move Gasquet-Mayer to Center Court after this. That will give everybody in top half equal rest opportunity if they finish today.

Agreed, 2 of the three center court matches were blowouts, while Fish/Tsonga, Ferrer/Delpo and Murray/Cilic all were/could have been a hundred times more competitive

Gasquet and Mayer would be well advised not to study this decision for very long; they won't find any fairness no matter how hard they try.

Should have put on of the remaining matches on Centre Court.

Either Gasquet Mayer or Murray match!

They don't like moving matches already started. Although I reckon they will move Murray to centre tomorrow and have all the remaining five singles matches first across five courts. That's what SHOULD happen anyway...

they can't do that for several reasons. too much play on center court will tear it up and make it horrible for rest of the tournament on that court. and people with tickets for other matches will have to be allowed to enter the center court and it will be too difficult to sort out.

Tuesday Schedule of Play.

20:00Hot off the presses, here's the schedule of play for Tuesday.

Play on Center Court will begin at noon with David Ferrer vs Juan Martin Del Potro, followed by Serena Williams vs Petra Kvitova and Sabine Lisicki vs Angelique Kerber. No. 1 Court will also start at noon with the resumption of Marin Cilic vs Andy Murray, then Agnieszka Radwanska vs Maria Kirilenko and Tamira Paszek vs Victoria Azarenka. At 11:30 am, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga vs Mardy Fish will resume on No. 2 Court and Richard Gasquet vs Florian Mayer resume on No. 3 Court. The last rescheduled match, Brian Baker vs. Philipp Kohlschreiber will be on Court 12 at 11:30 am.

I agree. But it seems Murray v Cilic will resume on Court 1 tomorrow while Ferrer v Del Potro, originally scheduled to come after them, will play on Centre Court. So the match that is already underway risks being further delayed if there is more rain tomorrow while the second match, which hasn't even started, will get a chance to play out fully under the Centre Court roof!

So far from conspiring to make it as easy as possible for Murray, as so many on here like to think, Wimby officials seem to be making it as tough for him as possible!

Forecast for tomorrow is that it will p1ss down all day. Murray/Cilic could be looking at playing 3 days in a row.

Which makes it all the more inexplicable why Murray/Cilic is not scheduled first on Centre Court tomorrow followed by Ferrer/Del Potro.!

Absolutely ridiculous!!

Yep. They could have scheduled him on centre - they didn't. They could have allowed him to finish his match on centre tonight - they didn't. They could have scheduled him 1st on centre tomorrow - but they didn't.

Just as well the linespeople are corrupt.

And some people on here seriously think that the tournament has been trying to give Murray an unfair advantage!!!

I can't understand why don't they just leave the roof?? The weather seems AWFUL even without the rain and it was only a matter of time before the first shower started...

Hold on, the CC roof was OPEN??

I have a feeling the organisers are on something or i have no clue why they left the roof open on this day. They are already behind schedule and it`s raining on and off all day so far and it`s expected to get even heavier.
