I'm probably going to contract some hideous and life-threatening disease caused by sleep deprivation... So good night everybody, been fun being with you and take care for the rest of the evening!

Come on Rhyne, step it up, you can lose the next one to Berankis...

PS Damn it they're going 5...

PPS Sweet dreams Rock...

don't worry if some random name Rhyne williams can take Flo to a 5th set then Berankis will trash flo

My worry is that Rhyne caught Flo sleeping, but now Flo will wake up and come after Berankis with everything he's got.

Wouldn't surprise me if this Llodra Tsonga match turns out to be the best match of the first few days.

Torn between staying with it an watching fed. I think this tennis is great fun, though i think Llodra can not make it competitive enough to make it the best match

Yeah, I was just thinking I didn't really say what I was thinking in my head. In terms of Llodra being a match for Jo, probably not... I am very much enjoying the points so far though. Some great athleticism from both guys.

This guy Paire seems to be pretty good, i know he's down a break but he's pulling out some good shots and the shots he plays are the right shots, this guy could cause some problems if federer drops his level.

I don't see it happening.

I doubt it. Even a slightly rusty Fed is rolling him.

The announcers were not pleased with Paire's last set. Flat-out scolding him at times.

Can you blame them? Paire was obviously a beaten man but he could of at least tried to go out with dignity instead of just play weak shots and just asking federer to beat him, the lil tweener shot he tried to pull off was just messing around and not being proffesional in his defeat.

He started well but im glad he's out based on how he acted in the 3rd set.

Delpo up 5-0, 0 unforced errors so far. :)

Edit: Delpo wins the set 6-1 with 0 unforced errors. Power pushing at it's best.

The coverage by channel 7 here in Australia is absolutely shocking. Today they showed Duckworth and Mitchell who were both nobodies over Federer because they are Aussie. This kind of thing happens every year e.g last Wimbledon they showed Stosur over Federer (Stosur. At Wimbledon.). Anyone else have similar experiences here?

One year they cut to Home and Away for two sets of a later-stage Fed match, it's a joke.

Edit: Here's a link I found after some googling - I was livid at the time.

Yep it's absolutely ridiculous. They've cut away from the Monfils and Dolgo match to show Wickmayer and Gajdosova because an Australian is playing. Channel 7's coverage is so biased and pathetic this year.

Tomorrows schedule looks extremely uninteresting. Djokovic Harrison could be okay and maybe López-stepanek, but other than That:/

They're now showing Gajdosova vs Wickmayer (not a match worthy of being played on Rod Laver really) instead of Monfils vs Dolgopolov (which i thought has the potential to be a classic). Gajdosova is ranked 166 in the world and never won a match at the Aus Open in 7 attempts.

Is it just me or the ball is flying through the courts alot faster than previous Aust Open? Could it be the record breaking heat causing this?

The poor coverage yesterday from both Foxtel and Channel 7 was the main reason I went today. I knew damn well they weren't going to show the Haas match on tv and I didn't want to miss it. Worth it.
