What was the last movie you watched?

DRII

G.O.A.T.
Hansel & Gretel

Very good for what it is. Was quite surprised how it turned out. Had to be rated R to be worth anything, if it was PG-13 it would have been garbage.

Very intense in some scenes...

A little late this year, I think - but like I have any control over it? lol

They actually started coming like a month ago, but was hoping for Lincoln. However, they sent these notices out for Special Screenings for industry members, but it looks like few showed up at these screenings. Kind of a waste. The invite came with this big, color booklet. Should have just sent the DVD the first time!

So then last week, the DVD arrived, so....

Just haven't watched anything, yet, as a girl I know wants to see them, too, and she lives a ways away, so they're just sitting there. I'm usually on-court at night, anyway, so I can wait.

I do want to see Lincoln, though!

Impossible

Naomi Watts as the tsunami mommy. Plenty of moaning, screaming, and wound infections. Next year, let's vacation in the mountains.

TEAM AMERICA World Police........Bigger, Longer & Uncut version.

Hadn't seen it for awhile but my son broke out the the blu-ray version! Still one of the funniest flicks ever.

oh boy! you made me relive that hilarious puke scene.. LMAO ...
but it's best effect is watching in a big movie hall with full crowd ... those crowd reactions are priceless

Trouble With the Curve

Very entertaining; not just another Eastwood vehicle; His portrayal as a crusty old guy is quite good as is the relationship progression between his character and his daughter

Triangle - One of the typical mind bender thanks to one of the imdb poster i got now most of it :D, how did it rate so low than similar kind of movie inception. I think its way better than inception

Django Unchained... very entertaining but it felt like it lost focus a that Tarantino spark from the scene with Tarantino onwards that comes about 80% of the way through.

It's a supreme effort but not as good as his previous film, Inglorious Basterds.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Saw this film again on TV today, brilliant stuff, further proof that Charlie Kaufman is the most creative screenwriter of his generation.

Rented "Would You Rather" last night. Low-budget Saw-type movie with minimal gore but lots of psychological scares... we liked it.

We went to see "Mama" a couple weeks ago. Terrible. We were laughing for the whole last ten minutes as the plot went completely off the rails.

"gangster squad" was ok.. stylish suits and big name actors, but no real plot, character development, intrigue or interesting themes. also, full of cliche including token (helper) roles each for a black man and a latino man....

A Good Day To Die Hard.

A complete shambles of a film with only a few cool helicopter scenes to prevent it from being as bad as Battlefield Earth.

Probably the millionth person to check in with Django Unchained. I downloaded Skyfall though, just haven't gotten around to checking it out though. @Bobby Jr. I'm saddened to hear about the terrible new Die Hard flick.

^^ saw it, didn't think much of it initially but alot happens in the last 20 minutes or so, takes on a Hitchcock feel to it, would recommend it.

Ended up watching House On The End Of The Street last night. Expected it to be scary, but it was one of the weirdest & worst movies I've seen recently.

Die Hard With a Clogged Artery, or whatever it's actually called.

Oh... Em... Gee... I never imagined when I was sitting in the cinema watching Arnie's The Last Stand a few weeks ago, that it would end up being the best of this year's three Geriaction Hero movies. Nor did I imagine when I was watching Stallone's Bullet to the Head that it would be knocked into second place in the category of least interesting action movie of the month.

Geriaction needs Chuck Norris

Silver Lining Playbook. I see no need for massive cussing in that film, seem way too contrived. I really dont see people cussing that much in real life that way.

C+ at best.

I was forced to see Lincoln, and 2 other movies. I think one was Argo (looking back at some posts name seems familiar).... was that the movie about catching UBL/OBL ? And one more -- never caught the name .. but it did have -- can't recall his name -- but about rescuing some people from a Canadian Embassy in Iran -- darn i am totally confused, saw them 3 days in a row.

Les Miserábles. While vocally not as strong as most Broadway runs of the musical, the visual impact was astonishing. It can be a tad too long (2h 37mins) but it doesn't get tedious at all.
The best musical they did on film, so far. Miles better than Phantom of th Opera.
Really enjoyed it. If you find yourself being a fan of musicals, it's a must-go film.

I saw Les Miserables two days ago and I have to say, it's the best musical I've ever seen.

With a star studded cast featuring Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Sacha Baron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter, and Dakota Fanning, I came in with high expectations. Each and every cast member thoroughly impressed me. What was more impressive was the fact that they all sang the songs live instead of voicing over the scenes with pre-recorded songs. And Tom Hooper's style was very evident as the cinematography was wonderful (he also directed The King's Speech). Plus, the story was all new to me as I had never read the play nor seen any other renditions of it. I was beyond compelled by the stories of love, revolution, and redemption in this movie, and at that I highly recommend it to everyone!
Really agreed with your review. Only thing is, Dakota Fanning isn't on this film. You mean young Cosette? The little blonde girl? That's not Fanning.
Fanning is 19 years old nowadays! :)

Really enjoyed Life of Pi. It was very intriguing and emotional, now I don't normally cry, but I couldn't help myself with this one.

I read the book and thought they stuck to the plot well, it was very much how I imagined it while reading. Great effects too. A++ VERY NICE VERY NICE!
