Federer has a really tough draw. He would not have wanted Tsonga in his quarter and some of those qualifiers are hard to beat.
Berdych won't beat Gulbis. I'm not even sure Berdych is going to roll through Monfils in the 1st round as Monfils is hitting form.
Yep. So this is the path I'm predicting for the 4 seeds:
------------ 1st...............2nd...............3rd...............4th...............Qtr
Djokovic:....Goffin......Dodig/Pella....Dimitrov/Falla.....Dolg/Kohl.... Haas/Tipsarevic
------------ 1st...............2nd...............3rd...............4th...............Qtr
Nadal: .....Brands...........Klizan.........Rosol/Fognini.....Nishikori/Paire...Gasquet/Wawrinka
------------ 1st...............2nd...............3rd...............4th...............Qtr
Federer:.....Qualifier........Qualifier........Benneteau.....Simon..........Tsonga
------------ 1st...............2nd...............3rd...............4th...............Qtr
Ferrer:.....Matosevic.....Montanes.....Granollers.....Raonic/Anderson....Berdych
Three frenchies in a row for Fed!
Yep, potentially. Luckily for Fed he's loved by the French crowd and hasn't had problems playing and beating local heroes at RG before.
I just realized Djokovic has a lot of potential matches coming up that he can avenge. First off his recent loss to Dimitrov, then a potential 4th round vs. Kohlschreiber who beat him there 4 years ago and then a match with Haas who beat him in Miami this year.
Federer has a really tough draw. He would not have wanted Tsonga in his quarter and some of those qualifiers are hard to beat.
Fed has a tough draw? Lol!!!! He has like 3 qualifiers in his first 3 rounds. His draw is pure cake.
Nadal is done and dusted. If he even makes the semi he will lose badly. I hope he doesn't even make it that far so I don't have to witness Cvac putting a beating down on him. Cvac will win the tournament by beating Fed in the final. Nobody will stop Cvac this year.
And I hope all of you draw conspiracists feel dumb today. The French would never make it easier on Nadal in any way at RG. They hate his guts there and would like to see him dead and buried.
Can Gasquet and Wawrinka please make the 4th round. Battle of the 1hbh's, but they've only met ONCE before on tour. Instead of this treat we get boring sh!te like Berdych vs Anderson and Seppi vs Fognini over and over again.
Also can Rosol please win just two matches, and then we'll see what happens in the 3rd round? No doubt N.$.K will say he would love for the chance for Nadal to equalize the Slam h2h match-up between the two, but Rosol will have other ideas... He will get fired up to replicate history and prove himself. The pressure will be totally on Nadal.
When will they fill in the Qualifier's names?
Doesn't matter, gets Tsonga quarter. Sh*t, how many times did Tsonga get someone that isn't Federer in his quarter FFS?Assuming that the draw is drawn fairly, the chances of Federer had to be guaranteed to play 2 qualifiers in his first 2 rounds are:
0.39%

1) Tsonga actually is better in slams since it gives him time to start his game;Tsonga isn't gonna hurt Fed. It's clay, and Tsonga's game is deteriorating exponentially ATM.
Also can Rosol please win just two matches, and then we'll see what happens in the 3rd round? .
Yep. This is the kind of event where Fed is in the final before the event even starts. The miracle of draw making...Tsonga isn't gonna hurt Fed. It's clay, and Tsonga's game is deteriorating exponentially ATM.

Too bad Rosol is not good enough on clay to pass them. I was looking forward to see him spanked
Well the third round of qualifying finishes today, so probably sometime soon.
Young Americans are putting up a pretty good showing in the qualies by the way - we got Dennis Kudla, Steve Johnson, and Jack Sock through to the main draw.
Ehm, Tsonga had MPs against Novak at FO last year and pushed Fed to 5 at AO this year so saying he's not gonna hurt like it's a done deal is hilarious.
What is it with this jinxing/anti-jinxing nonsense with Nadal fans & Fed haters? Dude, it's OK, it's extremely unlikely Fed's gonna win the FO, cakewalk draw or not.
Tsonga can beat him, so can Simon and yes even Ferrer (forgot to add Berdman as well though I doubt he'll reach SF), Fed's in pretty lousy form right now, too lousy for you to be that scared of him.
Oh good. Then the spanking may happen after all.He won his first tournament ever on clay like, a month ago

I'd get Hewitt, Sock, Troicki, and Tursunov out of there pronto.

Djokovic-Kohlscriber
Haas-Andujar
Nadal-Paire
Pospisil-Gasquet (this was an interesting one. Pospisil found himself here through me banking on him fairly closely beating Zeballos, who is on a 6 match losing streak while Pospisil is doing okay but is warmed up due to qualifying. Then he beats Wawrinka, who would make it through the first round but lose here to due injuries. Then, he would beat Janowicz in the next round because for some reason I see Janowicz imploding at that point in the slam.)
Gulbis-Almagro
Raonic-Ferrer
Tsonga-Cilic
Simon-Federer (not quite sure what you were dreaming up when you put Hewitt there)
Chang? Yes. Hewitt? No.I agree it is Ferrer`s best chance to win a slam. Will he be considered as good as Hewitt and Chang if he wins a slam.
Ferrer has not beaten Fed in like 50 encounters. It's definitely not happening at RG. People have to stop hallucinating here, seriously.I agree it is Ferrer`s best chance to win a slam. Will he be considered as good as Hewitt and Chang if he wins a slam.
Anyone think Vesely could knock out Kohlschreiber? It looks like he's been amazing in Challengers and Futures this year and last.
Djokovic has a tough draw... Berdych's is even worse
.
It would be an interesting match indeed. That's if the real Djokovic turns up though, because if he tackles RG with the same kind of form he's shown in Madrid and Rome, he might as well bow out to Goffin in the first round. We all know the real final is Novak Djokovic v Rafael Nadal.
The determined challenger with the heart of a lion against the undisputed king of the clay kingdom.
