Agree it looks very tough, ferrer's a beast, imo hewitt should go for broke - even if he miracously manages to steal the third set there's no way he has a chance grinding on ferrer's terms

I'm only 20 so Hewitt is really the first of my sports idols to retire. It's such a weird feeling, he's the reason I picked up a racquet, why I wear a backwards cap and double wristbands, that never say die attitude was so inspirational growing up. He was so different compared to others of his time, loud, obnoxious, sleeveless. He made tennis so exciting for a 6 year old, when the only image I had of tennis was old men at a country club in all whites.

C'MON Rusty! I'm gonna miss you, you legend!

Since he was one of Fed`s main rivals, i always rooted against the guy around 2000-2005. I could not dislike any more his on court antics, the "in your face" attitude. In addition i found his game boring as hell. Ironically, once he fell off the top, i come to appreciate him for the amazing warrior that he is. All of the aspects about him that i previously despised, now i respect greatly. Thanks for the memories Rusty, even the painful ones. Great career mate
