Anybody know what was happening?

It was really bizarre. Jo had a full on crying meltdown while talking to her coach after taking a fall. Then, in the middle of this someone in the crowd started full on screaming the guts out repeatedly. Apparently some medical people get to whoever it was and got them out.

Despite this I think she played a pretty high quality match and even after a total meltdown had herself together and continued to play with confidence and variety. She had an opportunity in the middle/end of the third after going down two breaks but Pliskova was almost flawless. She looked totally burned out mentally, I guess this week has taken it’s toll.

Grass is so brutal on slips and falls -- Milos Raonic almost had his career derailed after an early fall at Wimbledon. As for Konta, hope she is all right. Sounds like she had to play two matches in one day -- there oughta be a law!
EDIT: She says she is fine:

She slipped twice but looked totally fine. I think she was just mentally worn out from playing so much and so much press attention. Amazingly her game didn't fall to pieces.

Boo-hoo. The guys have to play five sets if it goes the max at a slam & it isn't like the women's game is anywhere near as brutal. What was she bawling for anyway? Wounded pride from falling over? That she couldn't break?

Do these coaches do any good, yapping incessantly while their player is trying to rest between games?
