First top 10er out and we’re down to 4 left in the running for #1.
In the second set, Sloan Stephen seem like she took some drugs! Getting a bagel and it actually shows the set. Many bagel sets, the games were actually close but not Stephen’s!

Kasatkina continue her slump. I did expect Vondrousova to beat her but not with the score like that! So does Sloane as this is her 3rd bagel this season.

Garcia lost to Brady again while Gavrilova has the upper hand over Buzarnescu today. Did Gavrilova snap out of her slump? Will find out next match.

Anisimova is the real deal, I expect her to be in top 30 soon and Mertens should not be a problem for her (She still age restricted tho).

Anisimova struggling to find her range, and Mertens impressively solid. Mertens up 3-1 in the second set. This could be over soon.

Not able to watch the Serena-Azra clash but seems like a tight match based on the scoreline?

Serena took the first, on serve in the second, and it seems like the first took quite a while (72 minutes?). Wow.

This is getting good, Kenin is playing top level tennis.

Another good player coming through Kenin looks a top 10 player in the not too distant future. Elina at last manages to see one out she will be better for that, quit dignity at the end the way it should be at this stage of the competition.

Yea Kenin is coming like a freight train. We all can see it. Weapons wise don't see her doing huge damage. But she is coming to top 10.

Great win for Kerber who serves her second bagel of 2019, she had received more bagels than she’d given this year after being bagelled by Hsieh in Dubai and Collins at the AO. She’d only served one which was over Birrell also at the AO.

She’s into the 3R where she’ll play Vikhlyantseva who knocked out Suárez Navarro.

Kerber has a fairly decent draw with Sabalenka the other top seed in her eighth of the draw.

Venus and Petra are always going 3 and quite a tight match. Both bring the best out of each other. 4 of them end up on 7 games finisher.
