He will win one when he doesn’t choke in the final. He’s good but he will never be great or even very good unless he manages to fix what’s between the ears. He’s not out of time yet, but it’s a tough fix even at his young age.

You might enjoy Tiafoe-Paul, though it isn’t of the highest standard both players fully committed to the fun. Tiafoe always an entertaining watch against a solid returner with a good BH: his real-timeproblem solving is actually interesting and he compensated by coming to net.

Shapo-FAA was honestly quite painful to watch, even though the Shapovalov display was one of his best of the year - you could visibly feel the anxiety radiating off both players. However, watching performances like that keeps me from giving up on young Denis - the entire thing was on his racquet.

I found Shapo/FAA so excruciating I couldn’t even watch it. I made it halfway through the second set. Shapo annoys the crap out of me sometimes. Misses 10 forehands in a row and bellows like a moose during rut when he makes one.
