True about Osaka. If Bencic could win a slam and be at the top for a season or two alongside a rejuvenated Osaka, @Aabye5 might be very happy. I would be, too. It does feel like they both belong at the top.

How cool is it that Osaka is up for it and ready to lift the game after Barty retiring. True leadership, and it's clearly a struggle for her but she has buckled down and got down to work.

Bencic had her chances. Her level dipped, and Osaka's level improved. Osaka's serve is becoming a weapon to win free points as well as getting her out of breakpoints. Overall, I think Bencic was happy for her recent run (from her last interview). It was a good run.

I think this is going to be over soon. Pegula's serve is not good enough against Iga. Saw a few sub-100 first serves. Iga opens up the court beautifully with her FH loop hook pulling Pegula wide and forcing an error or a weak response. Pegula has no answer for many of Iga's attack.

And gets broken back. Her defense needs to be more squash shots, slices, instead of loopers. Swiatek likes high loopy balls. Of course easier said than done since Pegula is just reacting when behind in the point.

If Sinner and Swiatek had a baby, that kid would come out breach pumping its fist. Lol. They have the same general fist pump which they do a LOT, though sinner more. It seems almost ingrained, like they were coached to do it and aren't even thinking about it. It's just a reflex response at this point.
