The re-match of Canadian open QF.

Its the 3rd meeting between these 2 this year & 4th overall. Paul won 2022 & 2023 matches in Canada (Albeit Alcaraz did have match points in the 2022 match) while Alcaraz took the one in Miami earlier this year.

Does Alcaraz get his revenge or will it be deja-vu all over again??

Vote & discuss.

So what does Tommy Paul do to cause Carlos so much trouble ? I know it's early in their head to head meetings but does Carlos simply overlook him or is it something in Pauls game that troubles Carlos ?

Just typical Alcaraz, playing without strategy, trying to outhit a bigger & taller guy in mid court rallies instead of exposing his movement and recovery.
Also the reason why he struggles against the likes of Sinner, Ruusuvouri, Struff etc.

Reckon this goes 3 on form I would say Paul and I would like him to win but just have a hunch Alcaraz will do everything to make sure he doesn’t take two losses in a row to Paul.

Alcaraz is using the slice a lot more since his success on grass. Good to see that dimension of his game growing even more.

Fun point there with the lob

This is the most fun I’ve had watching any tennis since the NA HC swing started
