To be honest, this level of Rafa won't cut it against Medvedev. It simply won't be enough. Medvedev won't spray like this and he will cover the court way better than Tsitsipas is doing here.
Rafa will raise his game

Yeah but that was the point of his dig to remind Federer fans of the demolition that dayWell, that was Nadal at his very best at RG. This ain't even close.
Dude, as a Nadal fan, we are going to get disappointed againSo I was tricked in 2019, and Djokovic obliterated Nadal.
Gonna say it again anyway. Nadal wins this time. Djokovic looks particularly ordinary.
@TennisFan3 2 sets completed in under 1.5 hours. Thoughts?
Halep, Hsieh, Rublev, Tsitsipas... Pathetic, they should be fined for a performance like this
Would be great for a person who’s never qualified for a slam to win thisThis is just plain bad. I can’t even tell if Rafa is playing well.

Nadal is playing well. But the matchup makes him look better..This is just plain bad. I can’t even tell if Rafa is playing well.
Nadal is not beating Djokovic lol
Nadal is not beating Djokovic lol
He is always powerless against Rafa.yeah, it's strange. Tsitsi is such a fighter in general but quite powerless today against Rafa.
He certainly is. Not only physically, but mentally as well. Deadly clutch. This is just plain bad. I can’t even tell if Rafa is playing well.

help us daniil, you're our only hope
now watch him cramp and lose in 5 to rafaello

That's clay, not fast HC.
I don't want to imagine what that Nadal would do to Tsitsipas.
Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, Berdych, Hewitt, Roddick, Safin, Tsonga, Delpo etc. All these guys reached their prime before their late 20's.
I know the record on HC screams doom and gloom but Djokovic isn't really hurting his opposition with his groundstrokes right now. He's lacking bite.
Based on what? I would expect nadal to play a lot better than he did in 2019.
Nadal's heavy loaded groundies vs Medevil's shot endurance. This has 5 set war written all over it.
Will Federer call Rafa to officially hand over the crown when Ned wins #21 in a few days?
Djokovic just told the press yesterday he feels much better than he did against Fritz. He has an easy SF ahead. And in an AO final, it will be all too familiar for Novak. He will peak for the final. He will be very hard to beat by Nadal or Medvedev.Based on what? I would expect nadal to play a lot better than he did in 2019.
You don't need to convince me we are in a weak era.Tsitsipas is #6 in the world.

He probably would think his reverse jixing on Bull works lol.@TennisFan3 2 sets completed in under 1.5 hours. Thoughts?

I have listed a bunch of players who were not 50 years ago who reached their primes before their late 20's. What am I parroting?Okay argue with the math if you wish. Check out the world fastest man, or average age of the NY Marathon winner, or Tour de France. It is late 20's early 30's. You think they were in their prime then because everyone on this board parrots that. It also usually fits the narrative of when their favorite player won and lost. If you look at facts then you will see 27-32 is a good predictor of their prime. In some cases of very physical sport it may be younger such as an NFL running back.
Let's try to act like we are surprised.Djokovic just told the press yesterday he feels much better than he did against Fritz. He has an easy SF ahead. And in an AO final, it will be all too familiar for Novak. He will peak for the final. He will be very hard to beat by Nadal or Medvedev.

Medvedev Nadal match is going to be interesting. I wonder who will win that one?
