Coolest looking string?

Performance is all good and well, but lets ask the truly important question: Which string looks the coolest?

I haven't tried many colorful strings, but I'd say Hyper G. The electric green makes the racquet pop.

Other strings that look cool and perform well?

All string colors look great and play great after a win ... and all ugly dead cr@p after a loss.

Natural color now looks great after all these years of black ... says the ex-rpm blast player.

Black strings look good to me in most rakets
but I like to color coordinate when ever possible
Lots of options now to do this

I have Luxilon ALU Power Blue strung in my Wilson Ultra 100 all black racquet. It has name Wilson highlighted in blue on the side beams. The blue strings on the black frame looks super sharp!

Far less options in the U.K. compared to USA, most strings only available in white/black/gold/natural unless they happen to be red etc as standard.

Don't own these Yonex any more but I think these are two of the best-looking strings around - Kirschbaum Pro Line Evolution and Solinco Hyper G.

I bought a used racket once that had green Alpha RAB Monoflex in it. It looked way cool: translucent deep green, very different from the more yellow green of strings like Hyper-G. Played well, too.

What is it about Kirshbaum Evolution that makes it look good? To me other blue strings like Big Hitter Blue look blah, and just clash with most rackets. Somehow Evolution has an effect of "cool looking string!".

This thread needs pics! Show us your string/racquet colour combo!

Cyclone tour red! Not a super bright red but still looks cool in both racquets. Next I’m putting cream in crosses with the CT mains in my PS97. It’s like accessorising your car... once you start you can’t stop!

But you stopped at the overgrip...and dampeners!

Same goes for me.
Big Hitter Blue looks kinda boring compared to Pro Line Evolution, especially compared side to side as in my picture below.
(from left to right: 4 sets Ashaway Liberty, 2 sets Polystar Classic, Big Hitter Blue and Pro Line Evolution)

Note to myself: make a prober picture next time.

I’ve got lead in the hoop, 10 and 2 on my PS97 and in the handle. Maybe more to come. I’ve also bought red coloured overgrips to go with the red strings. As you can see my PS is looking a bit tired so I might look into a respray one day. For my RF, my next set of strings will be yellow jacket. Probably try and find some yellow over grips as well to match. So much fun to be had!

Anytig that is not boring black or grey.
If you want colourfull, MSV hex can be had in many different colours.
Btw Gamma Moto can also be had in electric green, but i find it a little to stiff.
So playability before looks. Anyway your opponent sees more of your strings during a match than you do. ;)

I hate playing people with bright yellow strings. It prevents me from seeing the ball as they make contact. I have to blame something when I lose. :p
exactly my thought process,as a 22 yr old juco player, of why I did want them in my racquet. I might outta go back with that thought as 28 yrs have passed and I need every advantage, perceived or not, that I can get.

I like HyperG but I also like the look of cyclone in orange, yellow, and pink. I like the bright colors but I also have an affinity for a glossy, noticeably shiny black like an RPM or a SquareX even though I don't like playing RPM. Not a fan of many of the Lux colors, grey (bleh), copper (bleh), gold (ok I guess). I know coloring impacts play characteristics but I don't think its bad for Lux to produce the varying colors of ALU I haven't played them, but they look good.

Mosquito Bite is a gorgeous string, though I can't imagine who can play with - it's painful.

Prince's Duo and Prism strings are beautiful. I don't know why more companies don't make multi-coloured strings.

I use mosquitobite crosses at 86lbs.
