Unfortunate, he was a delight to watch in ATP Cup.

Oh no! That makes me genuinely sad.
"Sorry to all my fans who wanted to see me at the AO but I spent so much energy at the ATP Cup and that I need to rest before Indian Wells"
4cm? That's HUGE, no?
Get well soon Demon!
Hmmm. Looks like Raonic will take his seeded spot.
ATP Cup strikes again
... Which he continued to play in. Is miracle, no?At the 2019 Paris Masters, Rafa had abdominal pain, but not a tear. He had an abdominal muscle tear at the 2009 USO:

Continues to exacerbate existing injuries and then withdraw from multiple successive tournaments for the next decade. In 2009, Rafa did the same what Alex De Minaur did this year: played through pain (in the abdominal muscle) and aggravated the injury. Rafa sustained an abdominal muscle injury in Cincinnati and aggravated it at the US Open.
At the 2019 Paris Masters, Rafa made a wiser choice: he withdrew from the tournament before aggravating the injury.
An excerpt from Rafa's press conference after his withdrawal from the 2019 Paris Masters due to an abdominal injury:
¤¤ Question. As you said, it's not the first time you get this kind of injury. Did you feel it coming at some point? It's the same nature of injury as the last one?
RAFAEL NADAL: I had this issue in the US Open 2009 with a bad experience. Because I started the tournament with, if I remember, around 6, 7, millimeters of strain and I keep playing, I keep playing.
And that was the year that I lost the semifinals against Del Potro. So I finished the tournament with 28-millimeter strain, so have been a big, big thing after that. I remember well because I couldn't play semifinals of Davis Cup.
....I don't want to repeat that.¤¤

I wonder why Rafa does not train the same as for the clay season tournaments as it seems he's never injured during those 5-6 weeks...Continues to exacerbate existing injuries and then withdraw from multiple successive tournaments for the next decade.

First, I am not a Rafa hater. So, you are imaginingI wonder why Rafa haters are constantly creating imaginary stories about Rafa.
You’d think with this being his home slam he would put his body on the line. There’s a huge break after the Aussie. You got to question his toughness on this one.

Second, when in his 15 years has he skipped the clay season, Donald?? Or, even better, what is the proportion of skipped parts of season compared to clay part. Calling someone names and repeating same irrelevant crap, Donald, does not make your argument “perfect” (let me conveniently use that word.
Therefore, there must be something special about his clay pre-season training regiment
Diamond Age off to a good start
Octo posting on a non-Rafa topic? You go, girl! Try two bottles and post something random on Monfils of Dimitrov tomorrow.Alex De Minaur has a four-centimetre, Grade 2 tear:

mdvdv is six inches taller but only 30 pounds heavier, yet stays relatively much more healthy while playing the same side-to-side defense.Over training but also hes vey slender. Listed at 152lbs and 6 foot. I always found the thinner frame guys to get injured with a lot higher frequency. Ie. Nishikori
