In the end, I just couldn't get my forehand working so I went back to my Fischer Pro No 1s. But, everything else stands: Great serves and backhands, very stable frame.

Wish I could have made this work, but this has been a broken record for me over the years (original VCORE 97, Ai98, X Tour 97, etc.): I find a frame that feels good, spend a month or two with it, can't get my forehand working, return to the Fischer.

Maybe the issue is my forehand, not the racquets...

I found the regular CX 200 to be too light and unstable. As an alternative to adding weight, the Plus version could be just the ticket to fix it.

Reviving this thread - I have been hitting with the CX 200 Plus the past week - a friend of mine purchased some at the reduced price and let me play with one. I have been playing extended length racquets for the past few years, having settled on the Vcore 98+ as my main racquet and the RD Ti-70 Long as a backup.

Based on reviews I was expecting a more control oriented, plusher feeling version of the Vcore 98+ with less spin and power - however, I actually found the opposite. The feel was much more crisp and I found that the ball launches off the stringbed with more spin and pop than the Vcore. The feel reminded me much more of a Head Speed Pro style racquet (i.e. modern players racquet) than an RF 97 (which is what Michelle and Troy used as a comparison). At first I found the racquet hard to control, but I found the extra spin and power to be much more manageable after adding some weight to the handle and at 3 and 9 (getting the strung weight with overgrip to be 335 gms). Really nice playing racquet - especially for hitting big groundstrokes and serves. Compared, to the Vcore, I found it easier to generate depth on a medium swing and noticeably easier to end points quickly due to the extra power. I will say that the stringbed was a bit erratic when I fully flattened out, although I ended up just hitting with moderate topspin when trying to put balls away because the power level was easily high enough to hit winners with spin. It was eye opening - I would actually consider switching from my Vcores because it does make tennis easier, but overall the Vcores have more control and better feel and connection to the ball. That modern crisp feel would take some getting used to.

However, just thought I would add in my 2 cents re: this frame - doesn't seem to have gathered much of a following but I think it fits nicely into the small group of extended length racquets available now that are great to hit with.

Have played the CX200+ exclusively all summer, loving it. Added some lead at 3&9 plus top of handle, strung with overgrip 343g.

Love the crisp, connected feel, great feedback.

This is a great xl frame. I gave up on it too quickly due to the stringbed, which I couldn’t get under control. The new price point makes me want to scoop some up and try again.

I'm really interested in trying this frame. I recently purchased the cx 200 without demoing it (dumb, I know but the specs looked great and Im very partial to the crisp feeling of a well struck dunlop) and while I like it I just didn't love it like I loved all my previous 200 racquets (95in, ~12 oz). I tried adding lead and just couldn't get it right. I did have a few mfil 200+ (97in, 11.4 oz) lying around from years ago and gave them another try and have fell in love. The added length was an unbelievable benefit to my serve (I'm only 5'7) and far outweighs any slight drawbacks with maneuverability. I'm not sure why I ever gave up on that racquet but the cx200+ will absolutely be the next racquet I try.

any other mods with it? I like it but even with leather grip, lead above the grip, 3/9 lead tape I feel it's a little too light
