Grip size Dunlop vs Head

Does a Dunlop grip size 3 could be the same as a Head grip 4?
I'm interested about the Dunlop CX 200 OS but the grip size 4 does not exist!...

All manufacturers have a degree of variance with grip sizes, but in general, I have found that Dunlop grip sizes are around half a size larger than HEAD grip sizes. Actually, it's probably more accurate to say that HEAD grips tend to run a half size smaller than other manufacturers.

I agree, I normally use grip size 3 with overgrip, on Head's racquet too, but with the Dunlop Sx300 Tour It gets too fat and I prefere to play without overgrip.

Head has 2 type of grip shape depending the type, radical and prestige are rectangular or traditional head grip. Speed line more square.

Not anymore. Since Graphene 360+ (c.2019), all HEAD racquets have the TK82S pallet (aka Speed handle which is more square). The last HEAD racquets with the TK82 pallet (traditional rectangular) was the Prestige Graphene Touch line.

I think you’re right. Hydrosorb Pro is a slightly thinner grip, HEAD’s idea is that it enhances feel over the standard Hydrosorb that is thicker. Also, the factory applies it with greater stretch using the spindle machine than most of us probably would if doing it by hand.

I bought a CX 200 OS size 3 (maximum available...). I will put a leather grip as I did on my Gravity S size 4 and I hope the grips will have the same size!
If not, I bought a half size grip enlarger to adjust...

Would it therefore imply that a Dunlop grip 4 is a Head grip 5? That would be nice. If it’s not then that’s no good.

For what it's worth, I measured the bare pallet on a Dunlop CX200 and a Head G360+ Extreme Tour (both L3) and they're the same.

I think the circumferences must be the same, but I find the older Heads (and Volkls) feels about 1/2 size smaller because of the rectangular shape, compared to Dunlop, Wilson and Prince.

Well, not quite. AFAIK, the PT 2.0 re-issue still uses the slightly more rectangular TK82 pallet. Other than that, all other current retail sticks use the more square TK82S.

My bad, you’re correct. PT 2.0 has the traditional TK82 (and rightly so!).
