I honestly don't get how people can post or write things that make no grammatical sense. Whenever I write I do it as if I'm speaking, basically writing my silently spoken words. These people are literally not normal, so they choose a shtick and proceed to present it as original behaviour when it is just a dumb nonsense.

I have a feeling this is where the winning streak against Rafa snaps. I hope I'm wrong, obviously ... this may be Roger's best chance to add to his M1000 titles. He is already the oldest ever Masters champion (since 1990), but obviously winning here would extend this record significantly.

The weather tomorrow will be the first really warm day of the tournament and the conditions are quicker in the daytime and heat, which will help Fed. That's assuming Nadal takes the court to play. When he says, "there are no guarantees" he'll play on Saturday, I take him at his word. I think it's pretty clear he'll skip Miami too.

Also today he has the chance to set the longest streak between these 2. Nadal had 2 streaks of 5 wins in a row before, Federer is at 5 now as well.

I think those three are acceptable, even though it would be annoying to hear certain people complain that Rafa would have won if it had not been for his delicate-as-antique-china knee.
The thing to remember is that except for hard-core tennis fans of the like that congregate on forums, those subtleties are lost to the cruelty of time and the ATP website head-to-head statistics. It gets another win in Federer's column to balance out a match where he didn't feel his best (like that aforementioned Federer loss there in 2013).
The only thing that would be untenable is option 4 -- that Nadal wasn't really injured or wakes up tomorrow feeling better. But perhaps he calls out the trainer a few times just to be safe. He can play with the knowledge of the foreshadowing — like a day-time soap opera, Nadal likes to foretell his drama well in advance — and if he falls behind a set and a break, he can shake hands knowing that commentators will trumpet how brave he was to risk his knee ahead of the clay season so fans wouldn't be disappointed. If however, Federer is distracted by the medical antics on the other side of the net or is simply off his game and Nadal is playing well, then Rafa can be heralded as digging deep for a heroic victory over his great rival despite his grievous injury. That's how good he is! It sets up a nothing-to-win, everything-to-lose scenario for Roger, and he can't fall into that trap. He needs to play like Rafa is 100 percent and ignore everything else. For Rafa, I think it might free him up having lost the five previous encounters. He fears being embarrassed again, which could make for nervous play. But if he has that medical reason in mind, then it frees him up to play better.
I actually think that Nadal's recurring physical ailments, while certainly exacerbated by his style of play, should not be completely blamed on the continued martyrdom of his corporeal being. And though I and others find skepticism in some of the injuries, I am not convinced it's intentional gamesmanship. I think it's subliminal gamesmanship — a manifestation of Manchausen syndrome that he cannot control or even begin to understand, a need to be injured or sick or hobbled, to be the underdog, to be loved and adored despite the fragility of his confidence. And he wins my sympathy, too, not for what's happening with his knees, but for what's happening inside his cranium.
My prediction? Fed diagnoses the situation across the net and offers a terminal diagnosis in five games, 6-3, 6-2, three breaks.

Honestly though, the suggestion that Nadal couldn’t move is just bull crap. At absolute worst his movement was sometimes hampered. But he was running in that 2 hour match last night. And he’ll run in the match later today.
I can’t imagine Rafa taking to the court today. It really makes no sense to push his luck this close to the clay court season. Even if he wins he still has the final to play. Definitely not worth to risk another long term absence.
Even though Nadal is not the most honest guy out there, especially regarding his injuries and “injuries”, I believe he wasn’t faking it. He had the match under control and only Karen’s insane 1st serve percentage kept him alive. It’s a shame, though, could’ve been a cracking match.

How about the time Fed didn't show up at all for the final against Djokovic at the WTF. You guys will excuse Fed for anything but call Rafa a cheater if he has anything happen to him.
And you think Rafa may not feel the consequences for months to come - even into the clay season - if he plays this match on a bum leg? He lost 10 miles/p/h off both his first and second serve after he was injured and it was obvious he wasn't moving nearly so well. He won because he played so smart.

Of course he will. Which is why he is in a tough situation right now. Anyone other than Federer, he would have pulled out. But because it is Federer, because of that massive respect they have for each other, that rivalry and what the fans will be packing the stadium for, Nadal is going to feel the pressure to go out there and play, regardless of the pain he looks to be in.

Except fed did it once in his career which makes it believable. Rafa does it everytime he doesn't have a cake puff draw and before facing Fed or Djoko

Rafa never withdrew before facing Fed or Djoko. The only time he withdrew before playing a top player was Miami 2012 against Murray.

Ok. I take that back but the number of times he tried to show injury as a reason for an important loss is pretty high.
