i dont understand how the history is made for 2018
Time and time again this year, we've heard how Fedal have reversed time and have transcended the sport.

Now they transcended time itself, and are so far ahead of the rest of the field that they're making history in the future.

They're playing the USO 2018 F right now; I hear that the match is suspended because Federer has took an MTO for his adductor problem, and Nadal had to be taken to the nearest hospital on a stretcher after choking on a banana.

is it true that borg also won 3 slams without dropping a set

Yes

Wimbledon 1976
French 1978 & 1980

Nadal has too

French 2008, 2010 & 2017

Federer joined Borg in winning Wimbledon without dropping a set (in Open Era)... on grass, Ken Rosewall also did in Australia 1972

Federer remains the only player to have accomplished the feat at a hard court major (Australia 2007)

has ever a qualifier/wild card won a slam or any other ATP Tournaments for that matter

Yes.

Goran Ivanisevic won Wimbledon 2001 as a wild card

Qualifier winning a Slam, no... I believe the best result is John McEnroe reaching the semi-finals of Wimbledon 1977

Its a tough call for the USO but maybe Stan the Man is ready to step it up once again?

Maybe Fedal are back as an intermission to save tennis from the monotone others while some next gens break through?
Yet the next gens dont seem ready for Slam success and will likely allow more no loss of sets wins for these old warriors
Catch-a-knob got murdered by Nadal, Raonic in average form beat a hot Zverev and that was it really from the youth.

It is interesting to watch Hewitt vs Nadal 2005 AO where you can see Nadal was all out aggression like he is now
but the difference is Rafa today has the ability to go into super hack mode if he needs to before pulling the trigger
while Feds BH and belief has improved the rest of the field are a shambles. Even Goffin went down to Dodig
a few days ago on a first outing since the French accident which is a shame cause he could have benefited from it.

Nadal was all out defensive in 2005 AO. It debunks the surfaces speed have changed.

which of my post you find weird

Do you even know what year it is, bruh?

To answer your question, they are all pretty weird but lately I think the symptoms of your neuro-degenerative disease are worsening. The posts are reaching a Hunter S. Thompson doing coke out of a salt shaker and eating multiple caps of peyote levels of absurdity. But it's ok. You're on TTW. They will pass by unnoticed.

I read up on that. So he was injured for a minimum of 6 months, so he got a PR and managed to play in tournaments without qualifying, directly into draw?
Yes. There are quite a few players currently entering tournaments under this provision...Haas, Tursunov, Gulbis to name just a few. The position in draws they receive is dependent on the ranking they had when the injury occurred. If that ranking is outside the cut line they can use the PR to get into qualies.

two back to back slams are won without dropping a set by the slam winner

nadal RG 2018
Federer Wimbledon 2018

I hope 2018 is an honest mistake.
BTW you are sexist. You should say "first time in history of tennis by male player(s)" - Andy Murray

There are 17 instance of men winning slams without losing a set. Consecutive slam straight set wins are only this year. The next closest are 63 Wimbledon and 64 Australia open.

There are a staggering 90 instance of women winning slams without losing a set. And about 16 instance of consecutive slams won with straight sets including one triple straight set slam. 87 us open, 88 AO and French

Fed stopped Sampras getting to 8 and then got to 8 himself. It's lovely.

Wow! Must be a lot easier to win 14 straight sets than 21.

not against Hewitt he wasnt, he pounded Hewitt had more offensive power but Hewitts top notch counters and hacking brought more UEs into Nadals game, even on the match point he wacked it out. Those matches against Hewitt shaped Nadal into celebrating opponents UEs as it strengthened Federer into bitting his teeth and using controlled aggression to overcome his hacking.

As for both rebound ace and plexicushion they are the 2nd worst most inconsistent surfaces on the planet even worse than blue clay but not Wimby weed. Everyone knew what to expect from blue clay after playing on it but rubberized hard courts suffer from heat, moisture, unequal layering times and thickness in coat applications, drying times and then balls suffering the same temp issues with the rubber then Melbourne's dreaded inconsistent humidity affecting its felt.
