Jannik Sinner has been seeded no. 14 for next week's Challenger tournament in Mouilleron-le-Captif in western France. Having received a bye into the second round, in his opening match the Italian will take on the winner of the encounter between home hope Tristan Lamasine and the Spaniard Adrian Menendez Macieras.
One wonders if Sinner is pondering making a late run for Milan which FAA took a pass on last year.
....He's in qualifiers in Stockholm next week.
8 Ugo Humbert 21.2 FRA10 778 - +16 Mouilleron le Captif R32 - 778 862
9 Mikael Ymer 21 SWE1 651 - - Mouilleron le Captif R32 - 659 751
10 Corentin Moutet 20.4 FRA12 569 - - Mouilleron le Captif R32 - 577 669

13 Jannik Sinner 18.1 ITA11 431 - +1 Mouilleron le Captif R32 - 438 530
Humbert has a comfortable lead, but Tsitsipas unlikely to defend Milan given he's 99.999999% qualified for WTF, so Ymer is the target at 651 points. Sinner wins tournament this week and he's getting in range and its very possible 10th will qualify.
Oops top 7 qualify so Humbert must be beaten. Sinner as Italian can play fellow countryman for the 8th spot so he's going to play in Milan either way most likely.
