Head after Agassi retires?

Andre is soon about to retire, so Head will lose there no.1 promoter of Radical racquet line. They probably need American player to continue promoting Radical, so maybe Roddick will be the only choice. Prestige have Safin obviously but, what do you think who will be next Head no.1 Radical promoter?

Yes, really what is the difference for such a player as Agassi is he active or not? He can continue to promote because everybody will remember him for a long time.

Haven't Head got your young American player, Donald Young I think it is, playing with the LM Radical? Yes, I gather it's not an actual LM but perhaps it's an indication that they've already got someone in their sights to pick up the Rad baton when Agassi does retire.

Attention and marketing will shift to foreign women players and the overall number of ranked players using the product.

Marketers have all been watching Babolat and other minor brands over the years and they really didn't need or have high profile endorsees when they made it. For example, Harkelroad, Roddick, Clijsters were all relatively unknown or low ranked when they started with Bab.

Head will retool marketing and do the same...the Russian women have tons of international appeal and will take over the bulk of the endorsement focus.

... the Russian girls are excellent choice for HEAD to market their tweener racquets, instinct, LM 5 & etc.
But what about player type racquets? ; )

Yeah, I know Agassi have lifetime deal with Head. But is not the same if you have player who is playing and wining the slams and retired player.

DONALD YOUNG! this guy is gonna be great, i saw a pic of him using a real lm, so maybe...you never know. monfils is good too. i think the radical line will be just fine. think about it, no pro is using the wilson n1 and that sells fine, same for many other racquets.

moosryan, I gather there's a bit of debate as to what Young actually does use. Regardless, if he continues with the results Im sure Head will tailor a racquet (the Rad or whatever) just to suit him.
