Wonder how it compares to Blade Pro 16x19
The blade pro has way more plow and spin with swing weight 340-350 range, but for me the control, placement, and all round court game the radical pro is more versatile!

Yeah that built-in heft puts BP way apart from most (all?) current retail sticks. Even though you can easily get Rad Pro to that territory with 4-5g of lead tape, it's not what wide public will be going for.The blade pro has way more plow and spin with swing weight 340-350 range, but for me the control, placement, and all round court game the radical pro is more versatile!
Blade Pro more plush and punishes the ball giving a heavier ball, same on serve. The BP has a high SW, quite a bit higher then Rad Pro and demands more smoothness but a Wonderfull frame. Rad Pro plays a bit more crisp comparatively, sweet spot a little more defined and a scalpel. Respectable power and excellent control but that orange is hideous very good frameWonder how it compares to Blade Pro 16x19
I do enjoy the tf40s as well. Considering the Radical Pro/Radical MP/Extreme Tour at the moment. I would also be slapping a leather grip on them as well. Just not sure which.I love my TF40’s, but watching that video review makes me want to add the Radical Pros to my collection.
Dear QC team at Kennelbach: thank you for exporting your expertise to Asia
Radical mp with leather might just re-create that classic head frameI do enjoy the tf40s as well. Considering the Radical Pro/Radical MP/Extreme Tour at the moment. I would also be slapping a leather grip on them as well. Just not sure which.
So will they have a cap grommet available for these?
The pro is a new mold so maybe not. Not sure if previous cap sets will fit the mp
Would be nice for sure. Maybe someone can make an older one fit... it will up the SW too that way those wanting a bigger beastYes, I know so aware the old won’t fit but wondering if anyone has any news for this one since it’s kinda of a Radical tradition of sorts
I sent back my MP demo on Thursday, and I ordered the Pro demo a few days ago. Hopefully I'll receive it some time this coming week. I'll report back when I hit with it. I currently use the IG Prestige Pro and I am wondering whether I should play with a lighter frame. Initially I wasn't going to order the Pro demo, but then I decided that it would be interesting to see how much racquet head speed I lose when I play with a heavier, but otherwise similar, racquet. For those who have tried the G360+ MP and Pro, how much of a difference is there? How much maneuverability do you lose? I like heavier racquets but only when they are headlight enough to maintain maneuverable characteristics. For reference:
Racquets that I liked in the 315g+ range: Phantom 93P, Phantom Pro 100 (18x20), Volkl VSense-10 325g, Prince Ignite 95, Pro Staff 97
Heavier Racquets that I struggled with: EZONE 98 Tour, RF97, Volkl VSense-10 Tour
Where would the G360+ Rad Pro fall?

That was really fun to listen to. I wonder what ends up happening to all the silver prototype models they had sent out? How cool would it be to have a couple of those as your main racquets.Fun chat about the Radicals and the history of the frames...

IDK about others experiences but trying to apply CAP Grommets might have been the most painful task of all timeGood job Michelle with the podcast, it's getting more and more interesting. But what the hell were they thinking with that orange and cap grommets would be very nice for the Rads. It is a tradition after all.
@marquette100When is that new radical bag going to be available?
That's interesting part with Speed being just a notch different from Radical (longer) and even Prestige MP! (wider) in terms of actual head size, it has moderately low stiffness currently at 62/64 for Pro/MP and just solid SW of 328-329. Beam width of 23 flat - nothing extreme. While Extreme MP (haha see what I did) comes with wider beam, higher stiffness and close SW (325). I bet Extreme has more power on tap - now if it's better to hit with power remains an open question.I also thought Ralf did a good for job clarifying their intent for each of the lines, which i know the brandography videos have previously tried to address, but here it came across more straightforward and not as much "marketing buzzword" (mostly in relation to the Speed line, never could tell if it was supposed to be referring to racket head speed, manoeuverability - around the court etc., interesting that they see it as more of a Power racket).
Anyone else here prefer the MP to the Pro? I was shocked by how much I have been enjoying the MP demo over the pro personally. Thinking about trying the extreme tour next since it is so similar to the radical mp.

Yeah, i know it's a new mold so that's why i was wondering. Bummer they are breaking a radical traditionI’ve been told by my HEAD Rep that there will not be any cap grommets made for these frames. They’re also a new mold so the old ones won’t fit.
Interesting, why is that? I am enjoying the MP but figured I should try the Pro too for its classic specs, similar to what I used to play until a year ago until I went to the Dark Side (Babolat).

It seems to me Radical MP and Speed will actually play on the similar field - there's no too big of a difference. Now Pro versions give more control flavor - string pattern for Speed, beam thickness for Radical, mass for both.
If Head actualy wanted to build a powerhouse frame (not game-assistant type of), they could make a Speed or Radical with Gravity Pro mass distribution. Or players can just lead up Extreme MP to 335-340 SW - that would be a monster
Personally I like Head lineup a lot. Don't need no Pure Drive!
Yeah I have a couple of clients disappointed by this decisionYeah, i know it's a new mold so that's why i was wondering. Bummer they are breaking a radical tradition
Well yeah, they dropped it from premium lineup, so it's kind of power-assisting tweener now for beginners and intermediates? Babolat still market their PD as premium option, but it has higher SW than Instinct. But Babolat has 3 lines of racquets, while Head has now 5 premium lines, and Instinct, and Pro Tour 2.0... (not taking game improvers and kids/juniors into consideration). What I'd be interested is how they fit the Instinct into the line up, because it was my understanding that this was supposed to be the "Power" line, albeit at the lower price point... guessing it's more of a hybrid between the Extreme/Speed then.

I hit with the Pro and I can tell you it swings so much easier than EZ98 Tour or RF97. Radical swings easier than the Gravity Pro (more static weight about same balance) and Speed Pro 360+ (less static weight, slightly less HL) as well... but they are pretty close. Part of it is what kind of head balance you prefer... for me an RF97 is heavy but the HL nature makes it okay to swing for it's static weight and swing weight... but it'll tire me out. EZ98 Tour is a lot lighter, but the balance is such that it felt like a very sluggish pig to me at the weight and 4pts HL... Yonex to me sometimes has a very different weighted feel than other mfg's... always seems to have considerable weight in the throat. The balance on the Radical Pro 360+ makes it shockingly easy/fast to swing given it's swing weight. For those who have tried the G360+ MP and Pro, how much of a difference is there? @marquette100
Thursday! Along with a few other HEAD bags
And thanks everyone for listening/watching/checking it out -- fun chat for sure and always nice to connect with those guys, we probably had another 30+ minutes of tennis geek chatter AFTER we finished recording, definitely guys who love what they do ironically the day we all found out about Covid was a day some of the TW crew was hanging out with the HEAD crew, so it was bittersweet to chat and Zoom with them almost a year later!
Stay tuned,
Michelle, TW
@marquette100Will there be a 9 pack or only the 6 and 12 pack bag that are on the website now??

Which Babolat made you change sides? Mainly I just feel like everything I could do with the Pro, I can do better with the MP. The MP really was not lacking stability which was my main fear with it and the extra bit of power it provides is more to my liking.
Looks like the 9 pack is not available in the US Market and the 6 Pack is not available in the EUR market.
Pro stock ?I liked the straight beam
