Is Johanna Konta's Forehand ATP Style or WTA Style?

Yes, I do have over 10 posts on this forum, and it's not a lie, and believe it or not, it's true.
Also, saying I"m a 3.5+ player is a truth, even though I've beaten at least 25 different 3.5's in the past 5 years by at least scores of 2's, most bagels, and ONE total 3.5 guy, 3-3. Haven't lost yet.

If you just admitted once in a while that you are wrong, it won't hurt you. It will actually improve your credibility.

I'm a 1.0 plus. At my worst, I can hold a racquet. At my best, GOAT.

I can outrun a quadriplegic, school an infant in differential calculus, and my knowledge of human anatomy would make toddlers wet their pants.
Does that give you any indication of my abilities, even though all of it is true?

How can federer be a 4.5 plus based on how he was hitting in that video. That's world class. Even if you didn't know it was fed. That is world class shot making. I don't get leeD. I don't know what he is saying.

Some dude I hit with one time asked me what my rating was. I told him that I didn't know and that I didn't care, but he told me that I was at least a 5.0. Am I better than Fed, a lowly 4.5 plus?

Plot twist. I am Federer.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
That "dude" rated you at least 5.0.
I would have rated you probably "better than a journeyman 4.5". Maybe HE would have rated me 4.5, based on just forehands and ONE backhand from the baseline, but we all know, I"m 3.5+.

Lee... watch yourself on video. Then watch the video in this thread. Compare. Your ntrp stuff is not even on the same planet. You can't put a usta rec ranking on someone hitting like that. Your blind. You have to be legally blind.

why does anyone bother arguing with the senile old man? just laugh at him for the village idiot he is and move on.

It is important to point it out, because too many senior citizens suffer without any help. If there is early onset of senility, and it is detected, then steps can be taken before it is too late.

You guys are true idiots.
If you watch a vid of a guy hitting well, but missing a lot of shots, you cannot give him a "7.0" rating ...UNLESS you already KNEW who he was, so you are NOT JUDGING THE VIDEO.
There's a vid of Milos in red shirt, missing more than half his forehands, and by a LOT. KNOWING it's Milos, YOU of course know he's a 7.0. If you bothered to just judge his hitting, he'd barely be a wild 5.0.
And yes, Suresh needs more ammunition to up his post count, so sniping is a good tactic. He's fat, he's slow, he's a 3.5 at best.
I'm slow, I'm gimped, I"m getting blind, I'm old, but won't drop to his level for another year or 10.

The hitting in that video is at the pro level. Unless you have the awareness of Ethan Albright, you'd see that.
Further, any tennis fan on the planet should immediately recognize Federer's strokes. It's clear that you did not.
What is so astounding about this is that after failing to recognize Federer and rating him a 4.5+, you continue to defend your warped assessment.

At this point, you've rated Federer and Delpo, both of whom are Slam champions,as 4.5+. That must be the highest level, the absolute upper echelon, on the LeeD scale. The NTRP paradigm has run its course.

Don't even bring up this NTRP crap anymore. You should be able to look at their strokes and say "pro." 4.5+ is both ambiguous and meaningless, and downright disrespectful.

Well, we have seen LeeD's videos and know his match scores, and we have had two independent coaches rate him at 3.0 or low 3.5, so it is no surprise his expectations are low.

There are tons of obvious cues that the guys in this training videos are pro level players. Ntrp players do not possess those traits. You simply have no idea.

Let's assume we don't know who either of the two players in that video are. One only needs to see the 2 backhands hit by the guy in white at about 1:30 in or the pick up volley not long after that to know that these are serious, serious level players. The ball speed from either of them for the level of physical effort should be your first clue that these are players way beyond 4.5+ level.

Of course, you can call me 2.0+, and I won't argue that. Now if you call me 3.5, I would argue. The PLUS makes a big difference. It means "as good or better", and followed by a backup statement, like "probably Future, Q, or .." would implay a ceiling in the 6.5 range.
Plenty of guys playing in the 4.5 range have solid strokes. Most that YOU see don't. Strokes is only one part of the game, like movement, desire, reactions, eyesight, recent practice, age, and a host of other things that are just as important in the overall scheme of making a good player. What we see in the videos is just ONE part, the strokes.

Federer has a much higher ceiling than Futures or qualies!

Lee, I'll rate you a 1.0+. At your best, you play at the 3.5 level. At your worst, you lose vasomotor tone and urinate uncontrollably on the court.

Don't make fun of incontinence issues. Everyone has to face them if they live long enough.

How is this not the most LIKED comment in TTW history?

I mean seriously, is there even a case to be made against this being the GOAT comment? I can't think of one. So epic.

I was hoping against hope that he wouldn't read the title of the video and/or recognize him - both conspicuous and hard to miss, but divine intervention must have prevailed that day.

What tennis fan doesn't recognize Federer's forehand? One who prides himself on assessing the strokes of others, nonetheless.

This is the part that got me. Fed could be wearing a Santa suit with a bag over his head and I'd be like, "hey that's Fed dressed as Santa hitting FHs" .... and I'm a Djoker fan. What tennis fan doesn't know Fed's FH?

4.5+. of course.
They probably play Q's or Futures or even almost make a main draw, so they're good player's.
This is the 70 year old retired business professional who plays 3.0-3.5 league who talks like he can beat everyone on the TV who isn't Federer, Nadal, or Djokovic.
