I would genuinely love to see one of them come out on the court and simply prove us all wrong. I could not be happier if Medvedev somehow becomes uber aggressive and puts on an unplayable performance vs Djokovic or Nadal and wins the USO. Even if it doesn’t make them an ATG or something historic, seeing them raise their game and outplay one of the Big 3 would be awesome.

So no, I’m not ABNG and I believe you’re being unfair if you are unilaterally against them. In fact I would love to see them flourish, if they truly come out and take the Slam title and deserve it.

That's why I don't get the "I won't root for them because they're terrible and don't deserve to win" philosophy. It's kind of paradoxical. People hate them for not winning, and then don't want them to win because they don't win.

I do think they're terrible, but I want them to shut me up and prove us all wrong.

Eventually you get scarred so badly, it turns into hate. There is a no going back line they crossed.

Have not and will not watch any of these next gen mugs. I know the wait is going to be at least a decade before these chumps gets thrown out by a new gen. Its worth the wait to start tennis afresh.
