Nick Kyrgios withdraws from Paris Masters

Six-time ATP champion Nick Kyrgios won't be making his debut at Bercy this year as he has withdrawn from the Paris Masters. Kyrgios, 25, is healthy but he hasn't participated in any of the events that have taken place since the season restarted.
The Australian last played in February, when he was forced to retire his Acapulco first-round clash to Ugo Humbert due to an injury.

Recently, Kyrgios defended Andy Murray after Eurosport tennis expert Mats Wilander called out the former world No.1 over taking wild cards from the youngsters and it led to a beef with Karen Khachanov. "Just read what Wilander said about @andy_murray .... shut up Mats, no one cares. Muzz, just know that how ever long you stay, we all appreciate and enjoy your tennis and banter.
Also I’ve never watched a point of Mats Wilander," Kyrgios said in a Twitter post, to which Khachanov reacted: "Nick, come on mate..it’s too much..show some respect." "Nah I’m good dude.

Muzz and I respect each other, and if someone starts talking about one of mine then I’ll come at them. I’m supposed to respect Mats? For what? Hitting a ball over the net? I don’t give my respect for that," Kyrgios continued, to which Khachanov responded: "Bro it’s your call.I really think you are a good lad and I don’t have any problem with you.But once you are sitting at home and writing different comments about players that makes me think who has the real problem.."

Kyrgios explained his decision to not play any events

"So you think what the players did during this pandemic was smart? I’d love to have an intellectual conversation with you but I’m not sure it would go further than how hard you could hit a ball.

I’ve simply been holding people accountable," Kyrgios continued. Khachanov responded: "And next time before talking about my intellect read at least a few books , instead or playing video games whole day long."

Kyrgios finished: "I’ve also been feeding the hungry, helping open up new facilities for kids to get active. But way to do your research you absolute pelican." Meanwhile, France's Benoit Paire, 2017 Paris Masters runner-up Filip Krajinovic and Argentine Guido Pella pulled out of the Cologne 2 event.

Elsewhere, 2019 Monte Carlo Masters champion Fabio Fognini and rising Chilean star Cristian Garin withdrew from Antwerp.

The article not exactly breaking news. Going to be hilarious when they cancel Auz Open and just wonder what Nick will say then.

Translation....I haven't picked up a racket since February. I haven't trained. I'm too cheap to hire a coach. I really don't care. But the coronavirus offers me a really good excuse to justify this.

why would they cancel the Australian open ? they said if they have to have it with No spectators, they would do that since US open was so successful.

Does Yonex still pay him all that money even though he's not playing ?

He'd probably be happier being a reality TV star

This is dead on. I used to like Nick. He could be entertaining and great for the game but he's more focused on generating conflict than fulfilling his prodigious abilities.

Kyrgijoke is so gangsta.

"You mess with one o' mah homiez, bro, and you mess with ME, boyeee!"

Kyrgiyoke lives in a kind of "gangsta paradise", a sort of Disneyland for adults stuck in adolescence.

TBH, I don't think anyone even notices when he's not around.

So, what you are saying is that you are worse than him in another activity?

Oh, I see.

I am proud of being worse than Kyrg in assassinating him, yes.

Or would you not be proud that you're worse at self-loathing than a depressed person? Being worse at st bad is not a bad thing, no?

Mr. Logic, I do so enjoy our little conversations.

He is handling his own property, you are trying to encrouch on it. It wasn't said for you to take pride in stealing from someone.
