Who do you think will take the LA title? Both strong players, I think Petrova may actually be a bit more mentally strong (and I realize I'm going out on a limb by saying that), but Ivanovic is on a roll.

I pick Ivanovic in a tight match which may see more than a few mental lapses.

Petrova is maddeningly annoying. Makes the dumbest mistakes. Ivanovic all the way!!! Plus she is super hot so it makes it even better.

I like Ivanovic any way at all! ;-) But I do think she will win this one, though it will be a hard fought match. As much enthusiasm as I have for currently watching Djokovic and Federer, I have for her match coming up....and that's rare I feel the excitement over a women's match, though I do like to watch women's tennis sometimes.

See, I don't think it was such a given. Petrova is capable of pulling off a win against anyone, including the likes of Sharapova and Henin. And Ivanovic *spanked* Sharapova in Paris, so that shouldn't be a given either, even with a surface change. That's the beauty of tennis, every once and a while, you get a big surprise!

I know you're a betting man, Tchocky...*raising eyebrow*...do you get inside information? Maybe you're tight with Davydenko?

All-in-all, it was a very entertaining and impressive match. They were crushing to ball out there today. I wonder when was the last time (if ever) Serbs won an ATP and WTA event on the same day.
