Rehabilitation looks to be going well for the Scot (Brit). He hopes to be back on the practice courts by the end of March.

Forget Murray now and just put him in tennis hall of fame and wish him happy retirement and his new career in Video game profession. He will never play like top 10 player ever again.

I guess time will tell ;)

I remember when people used to say that Murray would never win a slam..oh how he’s proven those people wrong and I hope he proves his doubters wrong for a fourth time!
I always thought he'd win a slam, I doubt he's going to add to his collection now.

He has more than 1,100 points to defend between now and then so if he doesn't play until then he will likely drop out of the top 100 unbelievable as it sounds!
He can have fun trolling top 10 guys in the first and second rounds of the big events.

Andy's a really fine clay court player. If Nadal isn't healthy and Muzz comes back at 90% of his best level, why couldn't he win the FO? I don't expect Djoker to be back at anywhere near his best, and the rest of the tour is a joke. I'd love to see Murray win the FO after all his travails.

It'd be nice to see him win RG, but if there's one slam he hasn't won that I'd like to see him win is the Australian. Maybe he can pull a Goran Ivanisevic and win it in the twilight of his career after so many finals

I am very happy to hear the recovery/re hab is still going very well.
The same was reported in January. If only he had had the surgery straight after Wimbledon and focussed on coming back for Brisbane.....

I would like to see him play an extended grass court season, something like

Queens (singles and doubles), Wimbledon, Newport (singles and doubles)

or If he really will be ready to return earlier something like

a challenger (hopefully on grass and including mens and mixed doubles), Stuttgart (singles and doubles), Queens, Wimbledon. Maybe adding queens doubles or Eastbourne depending on how deep he goes in tournaments. He can afford to add more seeing as he will be rusty and unlikely to win Wimbledon this year.

Yes!
I would really like to see him skip all the hardcourts and clay and do all his pre comeback training on grass and then play that return schedule.

Would you have him play doubles anywhere?
If not doesn't bother him then why not. Except for Wimbledon.
Of course the participation in those tournaments depends on how deep runs he makes. If he were to win Stuttgart and Queen's in succession then he probably shouldn't play in Eastbourne to rest for Wimbledon. And if he were to win Wimbledon then no need to play Newport.

Yes agreed. I would add doubles for the very first tournament because he would be rusty and the net play would be useful, after that it would all be down to how deep he goes in tournaments and his level of play (the rustier, the more tournaments and doubles action).

By the way, he is looking very thin in recent photos.

Presumably because of not being able to keep up the heavy weight lifting with an injured hip. I wonder If it is good or bad, he wouldn't be as physically strong but he would be a lot lighter so less stress on joints and he could play longer due to not carrying the weight around the court, and he would be half a step quicker maybe.

It boggles me to think that he was in the draw for last year's USO open. Hasn't played since then, and still unsure of when he would make a comeback.

To me it feels like he has been out of the game even longer. It will be great to see him back.

Earlier in the year, a lot of Andy's public statements revealed a man contemplating the reality of having to retire early through injury. Now we have some much more positive information coming out.

Lol.

Murray slips down to 21st or 22nd in the world and people talk about him winning majors.

Transitional champion is lucky to have the 3 he currently has.

Luck? Look at the players hes had to beat. Id say hes unlucky to be against 3 of the GOAT players .

Yeah, Raonic and a bunch of mugs is REAL unlucky.

Same sob story, sick of hearing it. Novak wasn't even in great form in those finals and he has never faced Nadal in a GS final.

So yeah, in comparison to Roddick Murray is very lucky.

What was so tough about Roddicks finals? He only made 5, Murray has made 11 ( so far ) in a tougher era LOL
Roddick isn't in Murrays league , hes at least 1 tier below,;)

A bunch of mugs you mean Federer and Djokovic ? That's the only finalists hes played other than Raonic who you mentioned LOL

90% isn't good enough.

With only Fed standing in his way (let's be realistic, Nadal has had his flash in the pan season he has once every 6 years, he'll go back to playing mostly clay again) I don't see any reason why not. 90% is more than good enough to win Slams without a prime-Djokovic for Murray, Federer can't win all three of the non-RG slams.
