Same with most the weak era nonsense.Untestable claim,
Still, the proof is there. 4 times they met, and 4 times Nadal lost.

I guess Agassi improved at age 30-35 too then. The 4th time was against an injured Nadal. The other 3 times showed an improved version of Federer against Nadal.
Ridiculous excuses. Nadal was 30 years old, while Federer was 35 who had also played two 5 setters before the final. Nadal being tired against a 35 year old is the most ridiculous excuse ever. Especially since he was up a break in the 5th set. All of a sudden titedness becomes a factor because Nadal lost. Rafa got beaten fair and square by a 35 year old, deal with it.Fisrt, AO Nadal was also geriatric, out of his prime and in his 30s. Importantly, Nadal had one day less to rest and a much larger SF of 5 hours.
Second, Nadal was injured in the Shanghai final. He got injured against Cilic in the SF and was wearing a bandage in the knee in the final (which was played on indoor due to rain):
Nadal had to withdrawn from Basel after Shanghai due to his injury.
“I sadly announce that I have to pull out of the Swiss Indoors Basel, after seeing my doctor in Spain just after landing from Shanghai,”
“I am suffering from an overstressing of the knee and the problems where already present at the tournament in Shanghai" -Nadal

Nadal continued with his knee injury in Paris Bercy and the WTF.

The 4th time would have still been a Federer win anyway. Hilarious that you think a healthy Nadal was beating that Federer on a fast court. The 4th time was against an injured Nadal. The other 3 times showed an improved version of Federer against Nadal.
True-LOL! Who then, in you humble opinion, had the toughest competition? Somehow, I think I can guess.
RAFA is known for his success at Shanghai. The 4th time would have still been a Federer win anyway. Hilarious that you think a healthy Nadal was beating that Federer on a fast court.
Poor Nadal. Unlike peak 2012/2014 AO Federer.Fisrt, AO Nadal was also geriatric, out of his prime and in his 30s.
Pick any slam, any year Joker & Federer played then look at the draw. No one gets better draws than those two.
Agassi at 30-35 (2000-2005) was playing just as well or perhaps marginally below Federer's level at the same age. Please stop that Agassi nonsense. The dude was 30 in 2000. Best years were behind him.
Why do you say that as if those guys were Federer’s main competition?Soderling, Berdych, Cilic, Ferrer, Tsonga > Paper Tiger Tim Henman, Phillippoussis, Schuttler, Fish.
I can beat OP's post for shortness in favour of the ned. This thread will not be as long as the other one, because the truth requires less space to shine.
Nadal, Djokovic, Murray > Roddick, Hewitt, Agassi, Nalbandian, SafinYou forgot Roddick, Hewitt, Agassi, Nalbandian, Safin etc.
Fed faced all three for most of his mid 20s - 30s career and Murray isn’t above any of them for peak level.Nadal, Djokovic, Murray > Roddick, Hewitt, Agassi, Nalbandian, Safin
BoldedNadal, Djokovic, Murray > Roddick, Hewitt, Agassi, Nalbandian, Safin
Nadal, Djokovic, Murray > Roddick, Hewitt, Agassi, Nalbandian, Safin
Andy Murray is about even with Lleyton Hewitt in terms of peak level.Nadal, Djokovic, Murray > Roddick, Hewitt, Agassi, Nalbandian, Safin
