You're right, it's the titles that count.

Last time I checked

12>7
8>7

(Mind you I think Fed's 2007 and Nadal's 2010 are on par if not Nadal in the lead. But Im just replying because you keep on insisting that somehow Nadal's 2010 is greater than even Fed's 2006 just on the basis of 3 slams on 3 different surfaces)

Yep. I caught him posting wreckless. The poll was nearly 90% in favor of Fed 2006 over Rafa 2010. Yet, he called everyone are *******s despite there's *******s even vote for Fed.

3 slams in the same season - done before.

3 slams in a row on 3 different surfaces - never done before!.

clean sweep on clay - never done before!.

Nadal 2010 by far the best season since Laver won the calender-slam.Even the biggest *******s/Nadal-haters at my club can see that, end of story!..

you guys talk about the number of matches lost and how many masters-1000 each guy won, thats irrelevant. Nadal achieved something this year that noone has ever been able to, not even Fed!.

Federer decisively ahead in every single criteria. Especially in big finals the gap is huge. Fed was in 12 big finals and Nadal was in just 7.

2007 is Federer's probably third best year after 2006 and 2004. Very close to 2005

2010 is Nadal's probably best year.

Peak to peak Fed is much ahead.

2008 is when he had his best form. Nadal moved in 2008 far better than in 2010.

Nadal is behind Federer and Djokovic in terms of an entire calendar year dominance. That was never Nadal's strength. Nadal's strength was having the highest highs, i.e. his peak levels and peak moments are higher and more thrilling.

I think 2005 was better than 2007. He was stronger in most of the big tournaments. He did lose at the AO but he played worse in Wimbledon and USO 2007 and won those. Only real black spot is the YEC but he was injured in that one.

I don't think so. His 2005 was easier because the competition was weaker. Even then he is having less ranking points, less slams, less big finals, everything.
You can see his years compared here.

He won more titles in 2005 and lost less but those were small tournaments. 2007 he won same number of big titles but more slams and more big finals.
