New Phantom coming in 2019?

Can I just say I am on the verge of a relapse of my racquet addiction. This new open 93p is tempting. But I know I am not up to game for it. I was born later and never even seen a pog mid in real life. Chance now to experience a modernised version. Graphite plus textreme. The 2 best things that ever happened to Prince.

@Dartagnan64 ,

We can ship Prince racquets to Canada and Australia now! :)

Thanks,
Brittany, TW

Hi Britanny,

What do you mean by "now". I was able to have my order shipped to Canada before. I just have to pay a ton of shipping-related fees. What's changed?

EDIT: Oh you mean just the Prince racquets.

Wonder what the thought process was for going with the 14x18 pattern over a more traditional 16x19...
Having had zero experience with a pattern that open is the launch angle just going to be crazy high?
Somebody sure pressed the way back machine button on that one!! Wouldn't think so, but maybe there are issues with changing the drill pattern on what is obviously a 'Bjorn Again' mold rehash.

Nice to hear. I had to get my 93P shipped to a border town and pick it up the first time since you wouldn't ship to Canada. Then i got my second one delivered to my Dad's condo in Palm Desert which worked out better. Allows me to escape big duty charges. Might pick up another one at the parabas tourney if you guys are going to be demo'ing Prince there in March.

finger on the button, i'm sooooo ready to order.
Hahah.. same here I have a pro100 open pattern that is weighted up almost exactly as the 118x20 that they are launching but I like the closed pattern better tbh... I really dont think I need to demo the damn thing.. its 55 RA.. and short description talks about the plow and power increased... this is gonna be good

Anyone can tell me about the gripsize difference. I like the gripsize of Wilson Pro Staff 85 in L3. So which one that fit me for Prince P93 (14x18)?

I have pro staff in L3 and 93p (18x20 but can't imagine there a difference between that and 14x18) in L3.

Based on my rackets, the Prince grip is definitely a little smaller. I actually prefer the size and shape of the Prince grip.

It seems Prince uses Twaron for its shock/vibration dampening effect. Hence it is used in stiffer racquets only.

That makes sense. They've upped the RA on the twaroned frames for free power and stability and at the same time to keep it from babolating your arm. So until they start upping the RA on the phantom line, it might not need the twaron treatment. That might be the next update to the line with slightly higher RA/

It’s nice to see the Phantom Pro100 being offered with 18x20 string pattern, but I am really looking forward to a Pantom Pro 100p 18x20 (boxbeam). Any chance?

@jasonwltan

You could but TW would not like it, so I would not.
Since I know the general area I saw what I needed to know

Thank you.
I now have hope that an O3 in 110 27.5" with the 2019/2020 layup may be the Speedport Gold's Legacy:cool:

Then, no worries. Just wanted to share. But it's a TW forum, of course, I'll abide by the rules (unless I didn't realise some). Meanwhile, I'll just enjoy the frame.
