Your post says 2016 onwards, stick to your OP;)

You're the one cherry picking my lad, not me ;)

Just imagine the h2h if they played as often during Djokovic's downturn as they did Nadal's... wow... unfortunately Djokovic was not good enough to advance to the latter stages of tourneys to meet Nadal and crashed out of the top-20...

It tells us that Djokovic is weaker vs. the top-10 on clay than Nadal is vs. the top-10 on HC... interesting... so Nadal is clearly stronger on HC than Djokovic on clay
If you know the answer why would you start a thread for? WOW!

Took me some time to think about it and arrive at one conclusion. But of course there's more that it can tell us and I invite you to explore the possibilities.

Of course it's not just the top-10 that Novak has struggled against on clay in that time, also losing to Klizan, Edmund, Cecchinato, Evans...

You don't think it's significant that Djokovic is 6-7 on clay vs. top-10 over 4 years? He has like the second to highest clay win % of all-time (although not for much longer at this rate) so this fall is staggering and monumental.

I think you need to think longer before you post rubbish.

Lets be fair - won Rome last year and made it to the final of RG......Right now very much second favourite for RG....
Yeah, but the OP scratches his head about the GOAT's loss to Evans! A Nadl fan that is so worried about Djok's %%%% Imagine his personal struggle!

Care to list all those top 10 players Djokovic played on clay and Nadal played on HC?

Nadal on clay is strongest than anyone on their strongest surface
Nadal on grass is weakest than anyone on their weakest surface.

The focus on Djoko from the ************* are off the charts. That AO win and #1 record must have threatened them. Don't worry though, Nadal will win his monte carlo title.

Wow...

What does this tell us?

Well, most of the losses happened in 2017-early18 iirc (goffin MC, Rafa Madrid, Zverev Rome, Thiem RG, Thiem MC) so I think the record isn't as poor as its made out to be.
His run to the title in Madrid 2019 was one of the best ones he's had there, especially the match against Thiem was a brilliant masterclass (except for the 6-5 game in set2 when he failed to serve it out)

It tells us that Djokovic is weaker vs. the top-10 on clay than Nadal is vs. the top-10 on HC... interesting... so Nadal is clearly stronger on HC than Djokovic on clay
Nadal on slow HC: 3 Masters and 1 Slam in his whole career
Djokovic on clay: 3 Masters and 1 Slam on clay since 2016

What does it tell us? ;)
