Instead Marian Vajda, who is already part of the team, will step up as his head coach.

I saw a please fire Pepe petition on my travels. Would help if the writer put it through a spell check first.

So much loose instead of lose. When I got to about the fifth loose I just gave up on him. Time will tell if the 2 signatures he has will be enough to get rid of this ''fraud that is sabotaging Novak's career.''

Djokovic is finished.

Thanks to his wife (vegan diet), his brother(Pepe).

It is over. 2017 will be nothing but heartbreak for us Djokovic fans.

I think he desperately needs a break from a new coach and all the trouble he may bring.

Becker was known for his 3 years not for any useful contribution, but for trash talking opponents and creating controversy. Some of his latest are gems
- Because of Nadal and Federer's absense, Novak didn't have a rival and he didn't win. --Well he won the BIGGGGGG one French Open.
- Novak didn't win because he didn't practice. --- Whatever be the reason, why such talk

No useful contribution ? You kidding me ?

1) His first serve improved immensely.
2)He regained a winners attitude, after a 1.5 year losing streak in slams.

Becker proved he was a SUPER COACH compared to the other overrated big names (Lendl, Edberg).

Djokovic was spent, after winning the FO. No doubt about that. But how long do you have to wait before getting back to business ? 2 months ?
He has lost a TONNE of weight due to this so called vegan diet (influenced by his wife), and has mellowed on the court (Thanks to Pepe).

Becker threw down the gauntlent. "Either me or Pepe".

Djokovic chose Pepe.

It will end in tears.

This is all part of the Maharishi purge. Vajda will be gone next.

Eventually young Djoker will wise up when he discovers that the Maharishi is not celibate and expects a large cut of Djoker's earnings.

At that point Djoker will realize this Guru like all Guru's is a shameless fraud and dump him faster than he dumped Todd Martin. Then he'll get back to writing great music.

"Djokovic is finnish"-days are here. 7 months after the "will dominate the tour until 2020"-days.

Don't know about that. After all, Becker coached a guy who was already a multiple Slam champion. Lendl had the task of turning his guy into one. Much more difficult and impressive IMO.
Becker coached a player to the most successful 18 months in tennis history.

When he realises this, he will be spent age wise.

He will win 0 slams from now on.

If he kept Becker (or replaced him with another credible coach), and got rid of Pepe he could of had another 4 slams until the end of his career (including the 2016 USO that he lost to Wawrinka, + the 2016 ATP final). He had another multi slam year in him easily (2 in 2017), and another slam till the end of his career.

Yes, Becker took over Djokovic when he already won a bunch of Slams and was no 2 just behind Nadal (while being no 1 like 3-4 months earlier). Lendl took a consistent choker and made a multiple Slam champion out of him. Becker did great but I respect Lendl more as far as coaching is concerned.

I will say this, as a Djokovic fan. If he continues like this, I have absolutley NO respect for him as a person. I still consider him the greatest all round player EVER (the only player I would bet my house on, along with Borg). But as an individual, I have lost all respect.

Yeah, before you Fed and Nadal fanboys get your knickers in a knot. Djokovic is the greatest player ever. Peak for Peak. Ever.

Part of his downfall has been how fans were against him. The 2015 USO final was the epitome sports psychology. 20.000 screaming fans against him, and he pulls through. That counted as 2 slams for me.

It all took it's toll.

He does want fan recognition, which he hasn't gotten.

Once he is gone, people will realise what they have lost. Like all anti-heros.

Next year, I will be pulling for the next anti-hero, and arguably the most talented. Kyrgios.

The 2015 USO was his before the first ball was struck, gtfo with that nonsense. I just can't see how he beat 34yo Errorer with a weak draw to save my life.

Seems like they really took the Ultron thing to heart and thought he was a machine o_O turning on him bc he's getting older and declining like they all do.

Who knows MN? Personally I think there are few more chapters left in Novak's book.

Incredible jealousy from you, I like it:D
Broken record;)

As far as hope in favorite player ability is concerned @joekapa should look up to fedalfanboys . If there was one thing they should be applauded it would be unconditional faith (decline, age, form, it doesn't matter)

So you're just a bandwagon fan, who jumps on the next "big" thing....

Overhead.

Maybe fans wouldn't be against him if his tennis wasn't so unattractive to the eye or his demeanour on the court so off-putting

I will always say that Djokovic is the greatest player ever. This coming from somebody who had Sampras posters plastered in his room.

But nothing lasts forever. And if he fails with his whole "guru" phase, he will receive harsh criticism from me.

He ain't my father or brother. I don't "personalise" my admiration, like fanboys do.

Really ? What is so bad about his tennis ? He isn't a classic pusher (like Nadal, or Murray).

His "demeanour" on court. Please explain.

The only bad thing, in my book, that Djokovic does is try to pander to the fans. He shouldn't. Just because you buy a ticket to see a tennis match, doesn't mean a player has to be nice to you.

I don't hate Federer. I just consider him HIGHLY OVERRATED. He was great when playing against the sub par players of his generation, but once faced with quality, he didn't have the tools.

I immensely disagree with your statement.

Federer faced plenty of good players from his own generation.

The only time the Federer era was a little weaker was 2006. With all due to respect to Ljubicic, he shouldn't of been ranked as High as #3 but that's the same with Raonic right now who's a better Ljubicic but a much worse Roddick.

But I am not going back and forth with you since we will just argue in the end.

Why would you lose respect for him as a person? What specifically horrible thing has he done?
