Supposedly, Kyrios doesn't add any extra weight to his retail Yonex other than a leather grip.

I've gotta assume that the lead has been removed. Playing a racket that light with that short balance just doesn't make sense. 315mm balance is doubles specialist territory.

It looks like vinyl lettering. My wife can cut the same thing with her Silhouette machine. Every pro stock I've had that features a pro's name has been printed on at the factory.

From what I've been told, Pouille uses an off-the-rack 100P. Vinyl lettering may have been used to put his name on there before his personalized frame arrived from the factory. Who knows?

Long story short I think that site is absolutely legitimate. Just strange to see a pro's frame customized like that.

Ive added lead tape to Lucas's old racquet at twelve oclock and dropped the tension down to the 37 lbs range. Hits like a dream gut and pro hurricane. Nota Buena the racquet is not stock but a pro stock version of the retail racquet that has a much lighter hair pin.

Yellow was a pro stock, but the 100P is retail (with mods).

Nickname he got in the jrs............his looks and in France there is a hugely famous singer/movie star called Johnnya Hallyday (he's kinda like the Elvis of France) whos been around since the 1960s. Lucas got tagged "Hollywood" due to his resemblance and cool Hollywood attitude.

So 330g unstrung would be around 346g strung and with an overgrip they should be around 350g.
Unstrung swingweight of 323 would translate to around 350 with strings.
Balance wise it should be around 325mm strung.

I was just about to post that picture from the RingRoll.de Facebook page but it looks like you beat me to it!

I do think however that the 1.27 Prince Tour XC he uses would weigh ~19 grams in the 18x20 100" Tour 100P (Head Hawk 1.25 and YPTP 1.25 added 17.4 and 17.2 grams respectively to my 18x20 95" racquet). In a 100" head, the resulting SW increase would be ~32 kg*cm^2. It looks like Pouille doesn't use a dampener and also removes the ~2 g rubber grip band from the top of the grip (but uses a lot of red finishing tape on his overgrip which probably adds ~1 g). If he uses an entire Tournagrip XL which weighs ~5 g then my best estimate for his final ready to play specs is: 353 g/32.25 cm/355 SW.

That prince weights like my Head radical tour candycane...if you add leather grip, strings, damper and over, finally becomes 360gr xD

if you take stock 305 gram 100p you have to roughly add 10g to the hoop under the bumper and 15 grams in the handle exactl location will depend on your starting balance as bal can be off by 0.5-1 cm but for mine I had to add majority 10gr to the bottom of the handle and 5 was spread out from adding leather grip..

It s a fun beast of a racquet to hit but I must add it will most likley be gigantic overkil and migth actually work against you unless you are facing 75-100mph balls on a daily basis

That's been my experience when I've tried those kinds of pro-setups. Kind of like using a sledgehammer to hammer in a small nail (to hang paintings, f.inst.).

That are tons of lead .. Thought the leather Grip by itself would bring the mass to the handle ..

I thought about adding Leather to mine 100P and bringing it up to 31.5 balance unstrung , do you have any suggestions how to it ? @ dgoran

Lighter racquets don't have that oomph crushing power when the balls come fast, but feel so amazing when trying to put away weak balls, because you get much more swifter maneuverability with racquet head speed. I have seen pouille play at grandstand this year from up close (2nd row) in the side angle. I saw his racquet would bend a lot when he returned serves, compared to schwartzman(it looks like the ball pushes the racquet a lot and its springing back after hit), so I do believe that he plays with the light racquet. Don't know why he hasn't upgraded to heavier or stiffer racquet. Playing with a light racquet at that level must be reducing his accuracy a lot let alone ploughing through fast balls. Honestly to each his own I guess. Maybe someone should take a video of him from side view and show it to him.

I did notice a lot of juniors playing with lighter racquets too. Saw the same thing. I saw one kid smashing balls with heavy baseline play with the Head Prestige S. Wonder if these upgraded to heavier racquets, maybe they would play better?

I don't think it's an issue for him. I believe most of the pros like playing with soft racquets because it's much easier on the arm and they hit so damn much. When you practice as much as they do your timing will make up for the flex of the racquet.

It sounds like he added quite a bit of weight. I also own a 100P and part of the reason I bought it was because it was light enough that I could customize it. It doesn't take much to get up to a 12 oz stick especially if you want to use a leather grip.

That sounds right from my experience with him this summer. The racket seemed stock in hand aside from his name printed in the throat. He plays what felt like poly tour pro 17 @55 but instead of the standard yonex label it just had his name on the label in the center of the reel with the string gauge.
