Rodge a threat to Nadal in Monte Carlo

That's the 17th consecutive failed prediction by OddJack. Poor guy...

Afterall, he's "Odd"Jack.

17th... Good to know youre keeping track buddy, Let me know if you can file my taxes as well

Look at these people climbing over each other like lizards to call on somebody's prediction, Now after the fact Bodo must not have a job and "Odd" jack is a poor guy, because they have said Roger is a threat to Nadal.

OMG, how can anybody be a threat to the King, now that the ATP has fallen on dirt, Nadal's "turf", because his majesty is "light years" ahead of everybody else...why dont we all just go to the thread that asks "How many games will Nadal lose" in MC and how many bagels and bread sticks will he serve. O Why dont we all just play it safe, If it's clay we call it Nadal's and if it's Hard court it's Djocovic's 51% and 49% for Nadal and if it's grass maybe Roger has a chance, and if none of those happens on those surfaces we can all just come back here and say: Oh my God, Ferrer played out of his mind, or oh my goodness Soderling was in the zone...and then everybody is happy and nobody can point a needle at you.

Like somebody said on this very thread, like it or not, Roger is a threat to anyone at any tournament. He maybe declining, he maybe never get back to #1, he may even not win another major before retirement, but he is still very much capable of playing high level tennis and therefore he can be a threat.

What's really more stupid is this blindfold belief that nobody can be a threat to a player just because he is "the king" or the "God" who owns this 3200 or whatever rpm top spin on clay.

Unless of course, somebody gets in the zone...or plays out of his mind...after all somebody has to become a God to challenge the God, right?

Rafa can be beaten on clay.....he is my favourite player but this is tennis anything can happen.

He is probably THE most dominant player on one surface but like anything things change, I hope he can keep it up for another 3 - 4 years.

But lets not be naive and think that someone of Federer's quality could not upset him. Had Federer got to play Nadal I would have given him a 30% chance which is still plenty!

Nice post Jack. Take today's match as an example - Rafa is absolutely odds-on favourite to win the match - but the number of people on the match thread saying Murray has 'no-chance' is unbelievable.

Holmes: And the difference between you and many other Ralph fans (****s if you will in their case) is probably your age and/or maturity. This is by far too sensible a post for TW. I commend you for it nonetheless.

And OddJack, keep them coming. We Roger fans have accepted he's on the decine, and has been for a little while. However, he's never NOT a danger. As time will show.

This is the way to man up for an 0-17. :)

Get ready for 0-18 next and then when 1-1000 comes around get ready for the thumping of chests from oddjack and Bodo. ;)
