More like coral but darker? So, first coral, then orange, now hot fuschia?

But the Pure Strike text on the side on this one almost made me nauseous.
AFAIK, no. At least that's the word from my Babolat rep.Any idea if they will release an extended/plus length version of the Strike?
That’s the final design. Sorry about that! HahaOh please tell me they arent going to use that horrific lettering on the frames??? It looks cheap, naff and crappy...
Got into the Strikes bit late… Bought one at new year and one recently, and after mods I am really happy with it.
Dont have any complaints so I doubt that can make it noticeably better. Ok, more of everything is always nice… bot not realistic.
Dont like the new paint job so will probably got more of old ones at discounted price. Then again, can get them now for 90 euros, witch is already pretty low, but I wonder how lower it will get...
It’s due most likely this Fall. Thiem is currently using it under the PS V2 PJ. Also idk why you are complaining about it. If you can’t wait, then you can unwatch this thread (assuming you are watching it) and never hear about it again.Yep agree, looks like zero thought went into this...what annoys me aswell is how much they are protecting its release date as if its some kind of incredible new product, they never pushed its marketing, hardly anyone on the tour ATP/WTA uses it and yet they are acting as if its the next best thing in tennis? I like the frame a lot but if they don't comment soon on its release then im going to switch to Yonex, im a single handed lefty who likes to volley, why not?
Note 'Endorsed on Tour', not apparently 'Used on Tour'...
Again, I - and, no doubt other cynical, world weary people, would still prefer to see some relatively concrete proof that Thiem is in fact using this new racquet, not just 'endorsing' it, before we jump on the bandwagon; @Babolat Official certainly elegantly sidestepped the question didn't he? Where on Facebook?New video ad on FB today indicated Babolat will officially announce the updated Strike on 5/24
TW's "Brandology" page for Babolat indicates that the Strikes won't be released until August.New video ad on FB today indicated Babolat will officially announce the updated Strike on 5/24

I see that my quoting you misrepresented the situation. I was merely adding to the conversation, not trying to correct anything. Sorry for the confusion!Yep that's why I said "announce." It's just the hype train leaving the station on 5/24
I've actually switched from wilson pro staff rf97a, six one 95 16x18, babolat pure drive to pure strike 18x20 2017 @46/44 lbs with a multifilament and it's a dream.Saw a bunch of players with the 17 when it came out. Now I don’t see any. Clearly an overhyped frame. A less spinny, less powerful, equally uncomfortable Babolat.
A lot of these Pure Strike players moved on to Yonex VCORE and Wilson Prostaffs from what I’ve seen. Or back to the Pure Aero.
Me too, from RF97A to a modded (also 340g) PS17 18 x 20, played excellent with it for about 2 years now, currently migrating to a Pure Drive Tour Plus.I've actually switched from wilson pro staff rf97a, six one 95 16x18, babolat pure drive to pure strike 18x20 2017 @46/44 lbs with a multifilament and it's a dream.
Mine is modded to 340g, I play division A league and on my debut match against a relegated Super A team I beat an 18 year old.

Watched the Provincial Juniors practice today on Clay. 5 Yonex frames and 2 babolat Pure Aeros. i can't recall the last time I saw a Pure Strike 2017 in the wild.
For such a highly rated frame it's odd how under-represented it is at my club. I hope that Babolat doesn't rest on those "high scores" and deliver merely a new paint job. The racquet needs more comfort to go with the whole control frame genre.
did somebody post this yet?

I think I'll sell my white Project one7
IMO the 18x20 is much better because you can string it at low tensions and don't need to string so often.Watched the Provincial Juniors practice today on Clay. 5 Yonex frames and 2 babolat Pure Aeros. i can't recall the last time I saw a Pure Strike 2017 in the wild.

Thats not the final colourMods have taken down my post, understandably so. There is a picture of the new pure strikes along with the release date on Tennisnerd's instagram.
In a dense pattern you would want to string 4-6 lbs less than what you normally do in an open pattern.IME, stringing Poly strings at low tensions (40lbs and lower) tend to reduce the playability duration and string's life meaning I have to string more frequently.
The more a Poly string moves and stretches at ball impact, the quicker the string will "die". Poly strings move and stretch a lot more at lower tensions.
You switched because you wanted easy power and spin?Me too, from RF97A to a modded (also 340g) PS17 18 x 20, played excellent with it for about 2 years now, currently migrating to a Pure Drive Tour Plus.
Which one do you mean, the one on Tennisnerds instagram?Thats not the final colour
