Those are beautiful I wish i could get one!

^ Very nice on Stan the Mans sticks. I've noticed a lot of pros using heavy lead tape at the 3 an 9 positions. When it comes to leading the head, that really seems like a go to favorite for a lot of top players.

There has to be something on the handle, cause thats alot of lead on the 3/9
the leather handle helps abit, but there has to be more..

Very dense foam, not silicone.

Thanks for the photos. I have seen inside the handle of a lot of Yonex rackets, but that foam looks different to standard factory foam which Yonex put in some of their models.
The colouring is different. Would like to see it more close-up. If you have pics, please post them.
Cheers

I also see that Stan isn't using the new colour for the V-Core Pro, which is being marketed as his stick...You'd have thought Yonex would have had it ready for him by now!!?

Stan will be using the new paint job starting at Indian Wells.

And yes the foam in that picture is definitely different to the foam in my retail Duel Gs

I wonder if the foam added by P-1 or if it done by Yonex!? It would be interesting to know what the difference in the two types of foam is!!

Not because of that. There could be other reasons why he would use blacked out racket.
With Head, he used 238.3 which was not the layup offered to the public (.1 = MP; .2 = Pro; .3 = Waw).
so you are saying he is still using Head rackets ? It looks like square frame which signifies Yonex

He uses Yonex 100 %. There's no doubt about that. He played once in our club and gave one of his rackets to the club afterwards and we have it under the glass now. It's personalised and all but it's Yonex without any doubts.

Also, this very informative quote from the knowledgeable dr325i is over five years old! Nost. do you work for the IRS, they are about the only ones that hold you accountable for what you put in print that long ago?

Anytime you have an inscribed players name on the inside throat of a tour pro player’s racquet, probably not retail!

Based on post 104th on this thread, is it true that Stan is using a pink paintjob on his grandslam winning black
AC165EX Vibration Dampener?
AO 2019 yellow
then pink
then FO he went to white, then pink again.

Saw Stan absolutely eviscerate Murray in practice games on Sunday at Cincy. It was embarrassing for Murray. He has a long way to go to be ready to compete in singles.
The second most bizarre thing was Stan's stick- it was GREEN. Apparently it was a "tournament color" as reported by the Yonex stand. I picked up a couple of the Vcores and they feel completely different from the frame I demoed earlier this year- heavier, thinner beam and much more solid, but this was just from holding a nude frame.
They also appear smaller and more rectangular. Slightly bizarre. I have no idea if Stan used the frame they had on display but it sure looked like it.
