Some context:
We used to have a dozen+ quality public tennis courts you could play on. Today ... other than our fantastic public tennis center (about $10 for an hour and a half), you really can't find a freshly surfaced public court. So it was pretty good news to hear that the city had recently resurfaced a couple of courts. That was ... until I heard of ... and saw this:
Not great pics ... was evening so let me describe. Tennis court on the right as usual. If you look close on the left, you can see the 2nd tennis court net that is not used only to separate two pickleball courts from the other two. As you can see, the pickleball courts run perpendicular to the tennis courts ... so all pickleballs that go past the defender goes to the tennis court. Same risk the other way ... all of these pickleballers risk stepping on a tennis ball.
The Pickleballers are coming ... this should not be a duel purpose space (talking country, not the court )
